About

Goatis, also known as Sv3rige, is a Latvian nutritional influencer and YouTuber, best known for promoting a raw meat diet. Born Gatis Lagzdiņš, the YouTuber began his internet career in the mid-2000s as a RuneScape PKing (player killing) enthusiast under the name "kids ranqe," before becoming a conspiracy theorist who promotes pseudoscientific fads like sungazing and eating raw meat by 2016. Gatis Lagzdins's hardline attitude toward the raw meat diet extended beyond his online platform, with the YouTuber staging several controversial protests in the U.K. in 2019, where he ate a raw pig's head and, on another occasion, a raw squirrel. In May 2022, Gatis was accused of orchestrating a brutal acid attack on his ex-girlfriend Diana (known online as Luna) and her son with the help of his girlfriend and fellow nutritional influencer Mary Marina Eichel (also known as Primal Belle). Both Mary and Gatis are presently on the run internationally. In May 2025, Gatis began posting on TikTok under the handle @sv3rigeofficial.

Online History

Gatis Lagzdiņš began his internet career as a RuneScape PKer in October 2005. Known for his 1 defence build and maxed-out combat stats, he gained fame through 15 PK videos released between 2006 and 2007, showcasing his prowess in the Wilderness (the game's PVP zone). Gatis ultimately quit RuneScape for being "satanic" sometime around 2011.

A video of Kids Ranqe's early RuneScape run was uploaded to YouTube[1] on January 22nd, 2011, by the channel KidsRanqesVids, where it gathered over 290,000 views in 14 years.

On June 28th, 2013, Gatis created the online forum "An Instrument For All,"[2][3] which he described as a safe and welcoming place for his followers to share their pseudoscientific ideas and conspiracy theories without being ridiculed. He learned about "sungazing" from one of the forum's users, and at one point decided to spend a month without eating food and living off "solar energy."[4]

He also claims to have developed a craving for human meat[18] and raw meat after spending time in intensive care, and began posting about the health benefits of doing so in 2016.

On June 10th, 2016, Gatis posted a video[5] titled "Raw Meat – 4 Month Update," gathering over 27,000 views in eight years.

Alongside his nutritional videos, Gatis also platformed a number of other conspiracy theories about chemtrails, the Great Replacement Theory and the Flat Earth Theory.

Gatis began posting on his second YouTube[15] channel, Goatis, in 2018, primarily using it to post videos in which he reacted to vegan YouTubers.

Controversies

According to a Metro[6] news article from 2019, Gatis had reportedly stabbed his classmates at age 16 during his school years in Latvia. Latvian police said they found him sitting in front of a computer after the attack, with the two knives beside him. All four victims were taken to the hospital, where they were treated for light injuries.

While Gatis was anonymized in news reports at the time, his headmistress recognized and identified him after a raw meat publicity stunt in Brighton, United Kingdom.

Sv3rige began posting videos of publicity stunts in which he ate raw meat to protest vegan festivals across Europe, starting with an event in Berlin, Germany, on August 27th, 2017.[7] He posted another YouTube[8] video eating a veal heart at a festival in Amsterdam, Netherlands, gathering over 1 million views and 1.7 million likes in 6 years.

Sv3rige / Goatis Accused of Orchestrating an Acid Attack on Ex-Girlfriend Diane / Luna

In May 2022, Diane van den Bosch, known online as Luna,[11] was the victim of a brutal acid attack in Burgh-Haamstede, Netherlands.

According to Danish news outlet BD,[13] she was assaulted with a metal pipe and doused with sulfuric acid while exiting her home. The assailants were identified as Ilyas A. and his stepdaughter, Angelina, who were reportedly hired by Mary Marina Eichel (also known as Primal Belle).[12] Ilyas A. was subsequently sentenced to 12 years in prison for his role in the attack.

Marina Eichel was in a relationship with Gatis Lagzdins, also known as Sv3rige or Goatis, at the time. While Lagzdins has not been formally charged, Diane alleges that he orchestrated the attack. Diane has since shared her experience through various platforms, including her YouTube channel, Lundi Forest, and a GoFundMe campaign seeking assistance for medical expenses and safety measures.

YouTuber[14] Vegan Gains posted a video discussing Sv3rige and Luna's relationship and the attacks against Luna. The video also recounted the raw meat influencer's reaction to the allegations against him in a June 1st, 2024, video, gathering over 30,000 views in a year.
