RiverSide is a series of YouTube Poop Music Videos featuring the song "RiverSide (Elektrix Remix)", which is a remix of the song RiverSide by Sidney Sampson.[1]

Origin

On June 26th, 2010, Youtube user MrXarlable[2] submitted a video titled "RiverSpice", which combined the song with Terry Crews. The video has since gained over 600,000 views in under 6 years. According to the video's description, the video was round 2 of YTP Soccer with YouTube user DWL1993.[3]



Video Description:


"…(Soccer) Round 2 with DWL1993, that’s why I’m still using Old Spice, it’s the source for the soccer ok."

On August 24th, 2010, YouTube user Wazgul[5] uploaded "Erectin' A River" as a video response to RiverSpice, using soundbites from the engineer class from Team Fortress 2 (shown below, left). The video has since gained over 5 million views in under 6 years. Later, on August 7th, 2011, YouTube user Phillip OnBread uploaded a video combining the song with Bender YTPMVs (shown below, right). The video has since gained over 100,000 views in under 5 years.
