She Ain't Scared To Pop That Pussy For A Real Nigga, often mistaken as She Said Pop That Pussy For A Real Nigga or These Days Pop That Pussy For A Real Nigga, are lyrics from the song "Put It On Me" by Cesar Royale released in mid-2016 that became a trending TikTok sound in 2022 due to a low-quality, fuzzy and pixelated remix of it that made it sound like it was coming from an Android. Many of the videos referenced being on hold with Black-owned businesses with odd Instagram usernames, following the phrasal template On Hold With X On IG. Also, many videos referenced waiting for the friend group leader's approval.

Origin

On July 3rd, 2016, rapper Cesar Royale released the song "Put It On Me" as a part of his album Ocmulgee Water Flow.^[1] On March 31st, 2017, the YouTube^[2] channel Play2WinMedia posted a live performance/music video for "Put It On Me," earning roughly 91,200 views and 2,200 likes in five years. At the 2:14-minute mark of the video, Cesar Royale raps the chorus, "She ain't scared to pop that pussy for a real nigga" (shown below).

In mid-2017, the song became associated with the "'She Ain't Scared' Dance Challenge" on the website Dubsmash, however, in 2020,^[3] Dubsmash was acquired by Reddit and therefore all original evidence of it has been lost. Regardless, on June 9th, 2017, YouTuber Nikki uploaded a "She Ain't Scared Dance Compilation," earning roughly 55,900 views over the course of five years (shown below).

"She Ain't Scared To Pop That" TikToks

On November 4th, 2020, TikToker^[4] tresimpalxt posted a video that showed his low-quality reaction to an old, cringy Dubsmash video of a skinny woman trying to "throw it back" and twerk. Over the course of two years, the video received roughly 1.2 million plays and 151,000 likes (shown below, left).

In early 2021, tresimpalxt's sound^[5] was predominantly used for low-quality videos showing odd scenarios. For instance, on February 20th, 2021, TikToker^[6] tootsierollgay posted a video from what appeared to be a low-quality Android camera, wherein, he's riding in the back of an ambulance. The TikTok received roughly 1.3 million plays and 349,200 likes in a year and a half (shown below, right).

On January 14th, 2021, TikToker^[7] dawayvkidd brought back the Dubsmash "She Ain't Scared" dance challenge in a video that received roughly 976,200 plays and 210,900 likes in a year and a half (shown below, left). On May 12th, 2021, TikToker^[8] sxptty used dawayvkidd's sound for a video from Granny the video game series, earning roughly 538,000 plays and 149,700 likes in 15 months (shown below, right).

2022 Resurgence / "On Hold With X On IG"

In early 2022, the low-quality version of "Put It On Me" became increasingly viral when TikTokers started using tresimpalxt's sound^[5] again. This predominantly started in June 2022 when TikTokers used the sound as a mock "on hold" song to represent inexpensive black-owned businesses that operate on Instagram.

On June 27th, 2022, TikToker^[9] elijahjaier_ started this trend, uploading a video with text overlay reading, "Me on hold with 'AbortionsbyAmber' on ig," earning roughly 724,600 plays and 138,800 likes in four weeks (shown below, left). More creators followed this format going into July and August 2022. For instance, on July 7th, 2022, TikToker^[10] moneymaker30 uploaded a video about "'PhonesByPorsha' on ig," earning roughly 943,000 plays and 209,600 likes in one month (shown below, right).
