About
Treehouse in the Shade is a world in VRChat which features a lone treehouse surrounded by shaders that can be selected using a control panel inside the treehouse. The world was created in 2018 by users 1001 and SCRN, and serves as a memorial to 1001 following his death in February of 2020.

1001's Death
On February 28th, 2020, VRChat's Chief Creative Officer Ron Millar published a post on Medium titled "Remembering 1001," in which he announced the passing of 1001 and shared memories and appreciation for 1001's work and friendship.
