About

The "Skibidi Fortnite" Song refers to a 2023 song by Lil Big Stack and KK Butterfly (kkbutterfly27xx) in which a female voice and a male voice repeat "skibidi" (as in Skibidi Toilet) and "Fortnite" to the beat of the artist's precursor “Skibidi Toilet” song. The original song and its sped-up remix gained memetic usage on TikTok and Instagram Reels in late 2023.

Origin

On November 23rd, 2023, artist Lil Big Stack uploaded multiple versions of his song "Skibidi Fortnite" to YouTube,[1][2][3][4] including a regular version with a male voice, a so-called "Female Version" (featuring kkbutterfly27xx) and two sped-up remixes. The two "Female Version" tracks gained the most amount of memetic usage later on and they received roughly 14,000 views and 33,000 views, respectively, over two weeks (shown below, left and right).

Spread

Starting in late November 2023, TikTokers[5] began using the TikTok sound[6] for the sped-up "Female Version." However, the predominant amount of usage surfaced on Instagram via Reels, such as a Reel posted by Instagram[7] user @acepilotprower on November 28th, which received roughly 198,000 views in 10 days (shown below, left).

On December 6th, 2023, Instagram[8] user @hyruverse posted a video with the sound that gained roughly 39,600 views in two days (shown below, right).
