Animal Hospital (Anomaly) is a survival horror game on Roblox where players treat anthropomorphic animal patients by day and survive anomalies at night, the goal being to keep your sanity high enough during a shift by drinking coffee to successfully survive the anomalies at night.

The game inspired numerous memes and pieces of fan art and content, including shipping art, with much focusing on the cat character Head Nurse.

On May 10th, 2026, Animal Hospital (Anomaly) was released on Roblox^[1] by creator Animal Anomaly. The game features an Animal Crossing-like design and puts players in the role of a doctor or vet who must care for patients who come in by day, drink coffee to keep sane, and survive anomalies at night.

The game proved significantly popular in its first two months online. According to Rolimons,^[2] it hit a peak player count of over 1.2 million players on July 12th, 2026, and boasted over 950 million total visits.

Animal Hospital garnered a significant online fandom between May and July 2026, inspiring numerous works of fan art, animations, memes and more.

On June 29th, 2026, X^[3] user @weirqoz posted a piece of ship art between the characters Head Nurse, a white cat, and Secret Agent, a black cat, garnering over 1,900 likes in just over two weeks.

Later that day, X^[4] user @headnurseyuri posted a version of the Whole House Mad meme that references the game, garnering over 11,000 likes in two weeks.
