#TrumpBookReport is a Twitter hashtag used to imagine Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump delivering a book report on classic pieces of literature.

Precursor

On September 17th, 2015, Donald Trump gave a roundabout answer to a question about how he would revive the American Dream, prompting jokes from people who were reminded of someone who was responding to a question in english class who had not done the assigned reading.

Q: How will you bring back the American Dream? "Look. We can bring the American Dream back. That I will tell you. We're bringing it back. Okay? And I understand what you're saying. During the third 2016 United States Presidential Election Debate, Missouri politician Antonio French[1] tweeted "Trump's foreign policy answers sound like a book report from a teenager who hasn't read the book. "Oh, the grapes! They had so much wrath!" As of October 21st, 2016, the tweet has nearly 15,000 retweets and over 28,000 likes.
