About

Weird Shirt 😳 and Flushed Emoji Shirt refer to an exploitable redraw format in which female characters wear T-shirts of the flushed emoji (😳). The format has two variants; the first contrasts the difference between a character not wearing the shirt and them wearing it, and the second contrasts a character with small breasts and a character with large breasts both wearing the shirt. The format appeared in October 2023 and quickly became the subject to redraws.

Origin

On October 19th, 2023, Twitter[1] user bakuatsukiyu tweeted a 2-panel illustration of their OC, Broke-chan, holding a flushed emoji in the first panel and wearing it in the 2nd panel, causing it to resemble an inflated flushed emoji (shown below). The tweet received 30,000 likes and 3,800 retweets in 10 days. Bakuatsukiyu posted the same illustration on Instagram[2], receiving over 24,000 likes in the same period of time.
