About

Well Well Well Eduardo refers to an audio clip from a 2010 Eddsworld web series episode where Eduardo, peering over a fence at Edd, says, "well, well, well," and Edd sneers back "Eduardo." The "well well well" audio clip was used in an Eddsworld themed Friday Night Funkin' (FNF) mod and track in 2021 and became the subject of shitposting memes in the FNF community in early 2022, including photoshops and video edits. The catchphrase on its own also became a frequent spam comment.

Origin

On September 10th, 2010, the first part of a two-part Eddsworld episode, titled "Hammer & Fail," was uploaded to the Eddsworld YouTube[1] channel. In the episode, the protagonists attempt to build an extra floor on their house after Edd's room fills up with stuff. At the 1:48-minute timestamp, the neighbor, Eduardo, peers over the fence and antagonistically says, "well, well, well," at Edd. Edd responds by saying in a loathsome voice, "Eduardo" (shown below). The episode gained over 20 million views in 12 years.

On January 30th, 2022, Friday Night Funkin' modder TheBlueHatted released the "Friday Night Funkin' ONLINE VS. [EDD & UBERKIDS]" mod on Game Banana,[2] which adds a week to the game where Boyfriend faces off against characters from Eddsworld. The second stage of the week sees Boyfriend and Edd team up to rap battle against Eduardo, who introduces himself by saying "well well well" from over the fence, a reference to "Hammer & Fail" (shown below, left). The song used in the stage is produced by Philiplol, who uploaded the track to YouTube in January 2022 (shown below, right).
