On July 15th, 2021, Memedroid^[1] user llllllllll- posted a meme featuring an image of Indiana Jones about to steal the golden idol captioned, "When there's an active shooter at Walmart and the Sanax is left unguarded," suggesting the poster wants to steal the Xanax while the shooting is going on, garnering over 600 likes in two years. That day, a cropped version of the meme was posted by iFunny^[2] user LegitPopTartReviews, garnering over 48,000 smiles in the same span of time.

Spread

The original meme continued to gain viral spread in 2021, including a repost by Instagram^[3] user non_haeretici_coalition on July 16th, 2021, while also inspiring photoshops.
