About
You Like Music Right? or PONYCRISIS is a viral remix meme based on a scene from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic in which Twilight Sparkle introduces DJ Pon-3 (also known as Vinyl Scratch) by asking, "You like music, right?" The line was remixed into the hyperpop and electronic track "PONYCRISIS" by BLESSEDCRISIS, whose chopped vocals and high-energy production inspired thousands of edits on TikTok in mid-2026.
Origin
The clip used at the beginning of the song originates from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Season 6, Episode 6, "No Second Prances," which first aired in 2016. In one scene, Twilight Sparkle attempts to find Starlight Glimmer a suitable friend for an important dinner with Princess Celestia, introducing DJ Pon-3 by saying, "You like music, right? DJ Pon-3'd be the perfect friend for tonight's incredibly important dinner with Celestia."[1]
On April 24th, 2026, TikTok[2] user and music artist @blessedcrisis shared a snippet of a song they were working on, which would eventually spawn countless edits. The snippet received over 1.9 million views and 358,800 likes in about two months.

On April 30th, 2026, @blessedcrisis uploaded the full track to her YouTube[3] channel, where it received over 441,000 views in a similar timeframe.

On May 18th, 2026, TikTok[7] user @caleb.finn posted a similar video, which received over 6.3 million views and 1.2 million likes in less than a month and a half.

On May 31st, 2026, TikTok[8] user @kirkiimad posted a tutorial on how to get the glitch effect many TikTok users were using in conjunction with the audio. The video received over 29.7 million views and 1.1 million likes in less than one month.

On June 1st, 2026, TikTok[9] user @shondoii posted a Jujutsu Kaisen edit using the song. The video received over 9.2 million views and 2.1 million likes in less than one month.
