They either cry about being perpetual victims or they rationalize the abuse they receive by highlighting some imaginary silver lining to justify their suffering. When I started, the first thing I was told by this lady who worked there for 50+ years was 'If you a great job and you get tipped poorly or people walk out on you-it's okay. You don't know their situation keep that smile on your face - Sky.@SkyWilliams -7h My cousin lived in pretty rough areas. he'd express that he doesn't steal for recreation - but rather because he doesn't know if there's going to be food on the table when he gets home. You start seeing others property as the food you know isn't waiting for you (cont) 4 Sky.@SkyWilliams -7h What im saying is there's a mllion reasons why people take things and TBH probably most of em ain't benevolent. I give dollars to homeless people because it's worth the risk. If they get drugs, well it was only a buck. if they use it for food then i fed a dude for a buck(cont) Sky.@SkyWilliams -7h so if somebody steals my property, or money, im allowed to be devastated but I don't also have to let it fester. ljust say to myself 'l guess I just hope they needed it more than I did. I can see where you're going with this and agree that we shouldn't allow bad experiences to make us bitter and hateful. That said, I'm all about those property rights and self-respect. I would on principle not want a thief to get away with it, even if I'm not 2000% upset.
