Homelander Death Scene Parodies, also known as Homelander Begging or Please X I'll Do Anything, is a series of memes that parody the scene in the last episode of The Boys TV series in which the character Homelander (played by actor Antony Starr) is killed by Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) after groveling and begging for his life, with meme creators reinterpreting the scene with characters from and references to other properties.

The season five finale of The Boys aired on May 20th, 2026, concluding the Amazon show's run. Memes parodying Homelander's death were popularized on 4chan that same day and then X / Twitter the next day after X user @GamingAndPandas posted a viral meme reinterpreting it through Voldemort's death scene in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. The memes typically use the original dialogue as a phrasal template beginning with "Please X, I'll do anything!"

Origin

On May 20th, 2026, season five, episode eight (the series finale) of The Boys premiered. In the episode, Billy Butcher manages to kill Homelander in the Oval Office after he's been rendered powerless by Kimiko Miyashiro's chest blast (the same power Soldier Boy possessed that removes a supe's powers). Before he's killed, Homelander begs for his life, saying, "I'll fucking suck your dick, please. I'll do anything. You want me to eat shit? I'll eat your fucking shit. I'll eat your fucking shit on live TV."^[1]

The earliest examples of the meme began appearing on 4chan^[10] that same day, with several examples being made by anonymous users on the site throughout May 20th, 2026.

On May 21st, X^[2] user @GamingAndPandas posted a parody of the scene in which they post a version of the dialogue from Homelander's death over an image of Voldemort's death scene from The Deathly Hallows Part 2, garnering over 1.2 million views and 58,000 likes in under a day.

"PLEASE X I'LL DO ANYTHING! I'LL FUCKING SUCK YOUR DICK! YOU WANT ME TO EAT YOUR SHIT? I'LL EAT YOUR FUCKING SHIT ON Y!"

More parodies of Homelander's death and final begging dialogue were posted on X / Twitter that day, continuing into late May 2026.

On May 21st, 2026, X^[3] user @J0hnADouglas posted a version referencing Joker's defeat in The Dark Knight, garnering over 10,000 likes in under a day.

Shortly after, X^[4] user @litteralyme0 posted a version that references Anakin's death scene in Star Wars Episode III, garnering over 15,000 likes in under a day.

Later on May 21st, 2026, X^[5] user @HubPointless posted a version of the meme referencing the Transformers movies, garnering over 11,000 likes in under a day.

The meme also spread to Reddit in late May 2026, particularly on shitposting subreddits related to various fandoms and TV shows.^[6][7][8]

For example, also on May 21st, Redditor HotJuice2192 posted a version to the /r/ShitPostCrusaders^[9] subreddit referencing Jojo's Bizarre Adventure using a panel from the manga for the meme, receiving nearly 150 upvotes and 20 comments in two hours.
