Gosh but I’m sick and tired of random people declaring that “changing” the color of a character with darker skin based on lighting is somehow whitewashing.
Skin changes colors depending on the lighting and atmosphere! >:C
Plus, some people’s styles makes EVERYTHING lighter. I know sometimes I like to lighten EVERYTHING up cuz it looks nice to the eyes! Like a light watercolor look.
