Just so you know, the Doomsday Clock was set at 7 minutes to midnight during the Cuban Missile Crisis, and was set backwards to 12 minutes the following year. The people managing it have never explained their methodology and probably just do it whenever they want attention.

Couldn't have said it better myself. They barely take nuclear war into consideration anymore either, they just attention whore to prey off of people's fears.
