Artists are sensitive to the world and themselves, moreso than down to earth brick layers and applebuckers, for better and worse depending on their station and choices. I personally think it's interesting that all of these artists expressed a racial conciousness of indo-european character. This is especially so considering that promoting knowledge of racial differences or even the idea that race is a biological reality is extremely taboo in our liberal society If we accept that a) Indian Twilight Sparkle is more common than Black Twilight Sparkle in fanart and b) The artists did not intend to put race as the main point, we can generally infer two things 1. Most people subconciously recognise that racial differences in personality and aptitude are real (especially artists) 2. Most people are subconciously aware of their racial background, indicating thatitis hard-wired and not a social construct. I appreciate this is not directly show related, but thought it was quite interesting Talk to you all later B.D
