On May 27th, 2013, the satirical women's interest site Reductress^[4] published a listicle titled 8 Sex Positions That Will Blow His Mind And Destroy His Penis,^[2] featuring illustrated descriptions of sexual intercourse positions parodying those found in women's interest magazines.

Spread

On March 13th, 2015, a screenshot of the character Mike Wazowski from the 2001 animated film Monsters, Inc. with the caption "8 Sex Positions That Will Blow His Mind And Destroy His Penis" was submitted to FunnyJunk^[8] (shown below).

On May 16th, 2016, the Spongedank memepants Facebook^[7] page posted a picture of the Spongebob Squarepants character Squidward placed above the Reductress headline (shown below, left). On August 8th, Redditor NateTheOriginalGrate submitted a picture of Harambe photoshopped over the Reductress article headline to the /r/Harambe^[6] subreddit (shown below, right).

On October 7th, Twitter user @hamonbubbletea^[5] posted a picture of a man rolling down a street on four tires with the caption "Top 10 sex positions that with blow his mind and destroy his penis" (shown below). Within 72 hours, the tweet gathered more than 500 likes and 490 retweets.
