Is online advertising broken? It certainly seems that way. In one scenario, we can see ads being ignored by users, then marketers making the ads increasingly louder, bigger, and more irritating, only to further alienate the very audience they cater to. Ad-blockers can certainly combat this, but what happens when ad-blocking software companies make money off of advertising companies?
