What's The 'Tung Tung Tung Sahur' Song And Lyrics? The 'Steal a Brainrot Rap' And 'Brainrot Giga Drill' Songs By Devvey Explained

Tung Tung Tung Sahur, the famed Italian Brainrot character who is actually out of Indonesia, has an official theme song now that's going viral on TikTok. Although the song mentions other characters like Brr Brr Patpim and Tralalero Tralala, the verse that says, "Tung Tung Tung Sahuuuuuur," has stolen the show.
All of the songs were seemingly generated with AI and were posted by a TikToker and YouTuber named devvey, also known as devvMeme or @devvmeme_of. Each song uses the same lyrics but is set at different tempos and given beats that fit different genres.
For instance, the original song, "GigaChads Brainrot Rap," was a trap song, the second song, "Brainrot Giga Drill," followed the drill rap format, and the most recent one, "Steal a Brainrot Rap," has a more sped-up sound.
But because all of them use the "Tung Tung Tung Sahuuuuuur" section, many are referring to the tracks as the "Tung Tung Tung Sahur Song."
So, where did the songs come from exactly? Why are they popular, and how are they being used in memes? Let's explain.

What's The Original 'Tung Tung Tung Sahur' Song?
Back in July 2025, YouTuber devvey shared an AI-generated music video for a song called "GigaChads Brainrot Rap." The video showed a bunch of the Italian Brainrot characters as GigaChads, set to an AI song that rapped each of their names.
At about the 50-second mark, Tung Tung Tung Sahur is shown lounging on a beach chair wearing a Dior shirt. The AI voice really extends the character's name, delivering a beautiful note that can perhaps make one forget that it's a clanker singing.
Devvey also shared the song on TikTok in three parts a few days later, but the YouTube video has done more numbers. It currently sits at over 26 million views.

What's The 'Brainrot Giga Drill' Song?
About a month later, devvey shared another AI song about the brainrot characters, using the same lyrics as the original. Instead, however, the song was in the style of a drill rap song, like those from hip-hop artists like Pop Smoke and Ice Spice.
The song was appropriately titled, "Brainrot Giga Drill" because it again used "giga-fied" versions of the characters.
"Brainrot Giga Drill" was the first of devvey's brainrot rap songs to inspire memetic usage. The song's TikTok sound has amassed over 51,000 posts as of writing.
Many of those original posts were shared by Russian-speaking TikTokers in late August 2025. That's likely because devvey seems to be a Russian creator themself, per the Russian names on some of their TikTok sounds.

What's The 'Steal a Brainrot Rap' Song?
This month, devvey dropped another AI song using the same lyrics. This time, it was a sped-up version, and the music video for it centered on the Roblox versions of the characters in the game Steal a Brainrot.
The song is called "Steal a Brainrot Rap" (of course), and like the "Brainrot Giga Drill" song, it's inspired its own viral use on TikTok.
It doesn't seem to matter how devvey does it. Whenever that "Tung Tung Tung Sahuuuuur" hits, it hits, no matter the tempo.

What's The 'Tung Tung Tung Sahur' And 'Baka Mitai' Remix?
A few days ago, a TikToker named @emihe4d mashed one of devvey's Tung Tung Tung Sahur songs with "Baka Mitai" from the Yakuza soundtrack.
It immediately hit with fans of the game and viewers at large. It has a certain motivational and ethereal quality that some of the originals don't possess.
