I'd absolutely hate it if she made part of the mane six/seven. Like I said, I see Citation's point. But given the spotlight in Feeling Pinkie Keen/Hearth's Warming Eve/The Last Roundup/(forgot about Luna Eclipsed,) I think that she is no longer a background character.

In some way, she's been consistently the same character from Episode 1. Especially in Season 2. I don't think she can be ignored. It'd be like not seeing Pipsqueak again.

Also, official Hasbro Derpy merchandise, anyone? Would we buy it? Even with the…models…?

I can't. I'm not proud of the show.

I saw that deal, if Trixie came back, I could see her refusing it as well.

That being said, yes, she has more of a major role then most background characters, but I still can't see her being made into a mane cast character.

The thing is that you have to learn to accept Cite's opinions and not let it get to you.
He has his own opinions, and you have yours.
Everyone's opinions will differ from time to time, but that's no reason to be upset.
Go with the flow, that's what I do.
After all, I just use things he despises to taunt him for my own amusement.
Mind yourself though. Having your fun is no excuse for antagonizing him.
Each one of us get along very well, even when we get on each others nerves.

Keep in mind that Ideo was the only one to complain. The rest of us always respect your opinions, and in this case I actually agree with you to some degree. Portraying Derpy as being… well, let's just say a little more than stupid, was a very risky move and is likely to offend a few people. I admit that I was wincing slightly during that scene, or at least I was when I wasn't too busy fangasming everywhere.

My greatest belief in life is that people are great test subjects. Each one is different, therefore the results will always be different. I enjoy putting people through tests and recording the results for future reference. I guess you could say I'm like Hojo from FF7, except I'm not a total idiot (TOTAL idiot, I said). Of course, this doesn't mean that I don't take their emotions into account. My first few tests are always meant to measure their emotional range. Then, from there I proceed with other tests while making sure I don't push too far. People are people after all, and treating people like puppets is apparently wrong.

Edit: I taunt everyone for fun, but I always try to avoid hurting anyone's feelings.

Is anypony willing to make a Cherry Chonga? It sounds delicious. Could really go for one myself. Maybe some cherry pie. If I had any.

That was the best line of the entire series so far. Plus possessed Pinkie was pretty funny, also when she had to pee and was just grunting in the background. I Cant believe they had Derpy speak!

On the topic of Derpy, though I can't say that I entirely enjoyed her… interesting personality, I did enjoy the shout out. She started off as a background character with an animation error, and if it wasn't for us, probably would have stayed that way.
I, personally, am grateful that the creators care about us enough to make her a part of the cartoon, even just a small part.

But come on guys, what has been done has been done. Sure they might have know that not everybrony would be pleased, but that one was one hell of a fanservice. The voice was ok, and the way she derped was no more than fitable to the way we usually portrait her, but that was just it. That won't stop us from imagining her as a mailmare or fighting Daleks with the Doctor. The producers probably just wanted to show how much they do care about us even though we're not the main audience. So please, let us love and tolerate and accept this little awesome gift that has been given upon us.

That was absolutely hilarious watching that chat, Dr. Horse. I find chats take away from me watching the episode, so I have the chats turned off for new episodes.

And Dr. Stantz is right. I don't troll. Trolling is meant to anger for lulz. I tease Citation, Ideo, and burning_phoneix regularly for mutual fun (well, in Citation's case, I can never tell when he's genuinely angry, so I assume that if I'm not dead in the morning, then he's not as angry as he could have been.)

Stuff that someone already posted, but there was a lot of things to like. Fun episode. I actually thought…for a second…that this was going to turn into a two-part episode and that AJ was going to get away. There are 28 episodes this season. There's room for 2 two-parters or (gasp!) a three parter.
