I'm not going to assess such indicators every turn; maybe every five turns, if I ever do it again.

What about now?
the fact its not moving lowers its skooky levels
edit: on a serious note, how overextended are my armies, could i still enter a war with another country if i moved expansion efforts everywhere else (except sprawl)?
The gif didn't capture the emotion that I wanted to convey.
If that nation was at a disadvantage, such as being primitive compared to you, there wouldn't be much of a problem.
If your worry that your military isn't green enough than keep nurturing and growing it until it finally reaches the stage you want it to be.

Still Jesus. No rule everybody. We don't destroy the tower so it doesn't crash down and create a powerful Earthquake.
I wonder if I could see your tower all the way from Hessaria.

It's only a little taller than Mt. Everest. I'd say, no, not visible from very far away. You've got the curvature of the world to consider here.

You would. Taryn's been struggling for most of the game trying to figure a way beyond this barrier because, unless you're a Sherpa, there's no way to stay up there and exert enough energy to keep building on to the tower.

Then why not become a Sherpa? Or have a constant flow of people constantly changing each other's positions out in order to rest from being so high.

You can't just join another ethic group. Sherpas have a genetic adaptation that allows them to breathe at higher altitudes than other people. That's something that only comes from natural selection or being born into it.
Considering the size of the tower's top, there isn't exactly much room for an entire community to live up there, let alone one that would be large and diverse enough to rapidly evolve to their new living conditions.

This would be a good time for robot workers or at least oxygen tanks. But I think we'll have none since this is roughly what? The renaissance era?

Yeah, late renaissance era, by European reckoning.
Speaking of genetics how would my people look like from the islands and landmasses that they live in? Also what would be the terrain as well because I'm thinking of something like Greece.
I'm not sure if it would be racist or not to speculate on what people might look like based on geography. There aren't a lot of genetic traits tied to geography anyway; Sherpas are the only ones I know of.
Terrain is actually on the map so I don't know what you're asking about there. I suppose Carim is like a giant version of Greece, being a rugged and oddly shaped peninsula with a small archipelago associated with it, albeit in a much warmer climate

That how I was asking, since I know it looks a lot like Greece I know what to expect from it. So basically everyone from the South East islands are pretty much this RP's equivalent to the Mediterranean states.

Going to say Crete due to how close your islands are to mines. Though your nation isn't modern day Crete where it is a part of Greece. More like Crete when it was home to the Minoan civilization.
With so many nations adopting Egalitarianism it makes me wonder if Feminism will ever appear in this RP. I also have to wonder who would also become socialist in this game as well.
Yeah I kinda noticed that to. Everyone is becoming egalitarian, and we have a bunch of modern concepts like a banking system and jazz floating around. It just makes it more interesting to be behind the curve a bit. I hope to continue the monarchy into the modern-day era and beyond. XD
But even my own people are egalitarian in their own way. Every man and woman must serve in the military. And everyone becomes full citizens when their tour of duty is over and have access to retirement. They're allowed to set up whatever shops or professions they want after their initial 5 year tour. And nothing so far is really bound to gender that I know of.
It's a really weird form of egalitarianism through military rule and life. If not for elections where the council heads were elected, who then elect who among them is best suited to rule as king or queen when the previous one dies, we'd be a Stratocracy. But instead we're a weird form of Democratic Monarchy.
To go back to the previous conversation, we are like Sparta and Phoenicia fused together.

Constitutional Monarchies are the only Monarchies around so it wouldn't be too weird. Sparta and the Phonecian fused together? So that is what would happen if Carthage women and a Greek men got wasted and have a wild orgy.
For me I'm mostly Greece with some influences from the Italian city states and Germany of all places. Trust me the German aspects will come out soon but as mentioned in a previous post the main native faith is heavily inspired by Germanic paganism.
Banking systems were adopted around this era's period, mind you, and perhaps even earlier – The Templar Knights technically had the first credit card and banks.

Doctrines: Egalitarianism, Mandatory Service, Free Trade, Secularism, State Beer Monopoly, Chemical Warfare
Culture: Alcohol Aficionados, Fish Fanatics, Starlove (religion)

-Grechenstein is annexed. Other rebellious provinces are extended the same offer, but most refuse, instead hoping to reform their government rather than abandon it.
-The old galleon fleet has been gradually phased out for larger, faster frigate class ships.
-The right and left parties have each failed to achieve an absolute majority in the government, resulting in a temporary deadlock during which few productive acts could be passed.
-A patent office is founded to keep a catalogue of inventions and discoveries, ensuring that whoever achieves such great works in the field of science may be forever credited for their accomplishments.
-With the development of gas toxins, the government has accepted their use as weapons of war. Hwachas are equipped with chemical cylinders to give them deadly, horrific effects.
-A business reform is passed regulating money lending and interest rates.
-Gay marriage is legalized.
-Refugees from neighboring nations, specifically Onvast, are being accepted in great numbers as they flee the dangerous conflict in their nation.
-Fish from around the world are imported and grown in lakes, designated as fish farms, diversifying the nation's menu for the first time in centuries.
Syraus (Stalemate)
Military: Tercio, Heavy Camel Cavalry, Medics, Cannons, Flamethrowers, Barques
Doctrines: Egalitarianism, Inquisition, Spies, Welfare, Mandatory Service, Religious Missions
Culture: Teachers, Entertainers, Xenophobia, Zeist (religion)
Issues: War Exhaustion (high), Unitology Mob Violence, Zeist Reactionaries
-The Sprawl armies have advanced across the border, winning a series of battles and taking Heiko. To regain supremacy on the battlefield, the armies are reformed to more resemble their successful enemies, using gunpowder weapons such as the cannon and the arquebus.
-The blockade of Aegis is ended.
-The policy of secularism is ended with the establishment of government sanctioned missions to spread the Zeist faith throughout the provinces. Overall this has been a peaceful movement, although it is feared that the now scorned Unitologists may join with enemy forces attacking territories in which Unitology is predominant.
-A colony is established in the new world.
-The war has taken a severe toll upon Syraus by this point, straining the economy and angering the public. It may be time to make peace.
Orobostan (ProfessorRivers)
Military: Arquebusiers, Camel Riders, Cannons, Galleons
Doctrines: Egalitarianism, Meritocracy, Spies, Welfare, Draft, Isolationism, Secularism
Culture: Militant Patriotism, Unitology (religion)
Issues: War Exhaustion (low)
-The country is closed; international trade is ended, and communication with the outside world is cut off.
-A secular policy is enacted, ending any kind of religious discrimination in the government and the military.
-Science, military development, and domestic production are all promoted by government spending.
-Carim has landed an invasion force, which has taken Orobo City. The government has been forced to retreat, moving into exile in Abattlon.
Onvast (Roarshack)
Military: Heavy Swordsmen, Light Cavalry, Archers, Galleons
Doctrines: None
Culture: Merchants, Starlove (religion)
Issues: Starlove Rebellion
-The heresy law is repealed, but citizens are commanded to make daily sacrifices of food to the god of the sea. The rebels, displeased still, refuse to negotiate. The government's continued refusal to step down has led to the Grechenstein province's defection to Txabesco.
-An invasion force succeeds in conquering Onmortim.
Ambrosia (Triangle Mare)

Doctrines: Mandatory Service, Structured Military, Egalitarianism, Meritocracy, Spies, Religious Tolerance, Compulsory Education, Central Bank
Culture: Seafarers, Militarists, Diplomats, Reformed Christianity (religion), Trade Companies
Issues: War Exhaustion (high), Government Deadlock, Republican Revolutionaries
-Spies are sent into Japan to infiltrate the administration and inspire rebellion. Although they are not the primary driving force for it, they do contribute to pushing the samurai class into revolt against the Japanese senate.
-In defiance of the referendum, the Staten Generaalen commands the fleet to engage in a total blockade of Japan, bombarding cities and sinking civilian cargo ships and fishing fleets. Fireships are sent into Japanese ports to detonate and damage the warehouses and docks there, causing massive damage to the coastal infrastructure. This campaign has enraged the public, which gather in huge protests against the war in major cities.
-The Stadtholder, Willhelm, has died. The Staten Generaalen elect a new leader, Frederick Nieuwenaar, who is particularly obsessed with the war effort. He declares in his inaugural address that Japan is the scourge of the world and that it caused the plague, among a myriad of other problems beset upon Ambrosia. His speech is met with jeering cries from the crowd, and he is unable to finish reading over the collected voices of the mob.
-Soon after taking office, Stadtholder Frederick issued a decree suspending elections in the name of national security. This decision sparked the escalation of protests into riots. Cities across the country have devolved into chaos as looters roam the streets, committing acts of theft and arson. The capitol building was besieged by rioters, and the StatenGeneraalen were forced to allow the rabble in, conceding to reform the government to maintain national stability. The local garrison, led by a centrist commander with no ties to either side of the conflict, has made camp on the capitol lawn to maintain order and keep the debates from becoming bloody.
-In the capitol, the two opposing sides have met at opposite ends of the building; the rebellious mass in the left wing, the standing government in the right. Over the course of several weeks the two have held heated debates among themselves, putting together demands and concessions which are presented to the opposite side in the central hall. Within the left wing a part known as the Peace Faction came to dominate the debates and, as it became apparent that the acting government was not willing to give in to enough demands, undermined their authority by taking the initiative of engaging in diplomacy with a similarly rebellious faction in Japan, the samurai generals. Together they forged a peace treaty which, although not being ratified by actual members of any government, has been accepted as a legitimate document. The war is now over.
-As the riots in several cities continue unabated, many develop into organized ideological rebellions. These revolutionaries have begun forming local governments and beheading some members of the old government, especially those who voiced support for the war. These local governments have gradually seized more autonomy for themselves, building their own militia and keeping tax revenue for themselves, and it seemed for a while that Ambrosia might fall apart at the seams into several smaller states. To resolve this crisis, the Peace Faction and the StatenGeneraalen agreed to issue a command to the armies, sending them throughout the countryside to suppress the revolutionaries.
-A commander, Vincent van Hoffman, has become famous for his victories over the revolutionaries. He has come to be known affectionately as "the little corporal" and is establishing order across Ambrosia, gaining the respect of all he defeats by treating them with mercy. He calls upon his fellow countrymen not to fight against each other, but to unite as one to resolve the empire's problems and come out of the crisis stronger than they were before it began.
-A colony is successfully established in the new world, although chaos in the homeland has made the colonists unsure of their future. Unreliable supply lines means that the colony's growth is slow, resulting in less confidence and fewer immigrants.
-The plague has passed from Ambrosia, although it has left a legacy of devastation in its wake that will take generations to repair.
-The advent of the three field system has resulted in greater farming output and, thus, lower food prices. This partly abates the hefty prices inflicted upon the nation by its recently ended war, helping van Hoffman in bringing peace back to the country.
-With the government deadlock, very few major decisions can come out of the capital without being interrupted by a Peace Faction veto. As a result, many of Stadtholder Frederick's plans to reform the army and coordinate logistics with Orientale or Cuba have floundered.
-Witnessing the revolutionary movement in Ambrosia, the Egyptian Pharaoh decided to take the opportunity to liberate his homeland and has led a modern army into Alexandria. The Ambrosian army, busy putting down rebels in more central provinces, was unable to respond, and the garrison surrendered within days of the siege's start. Winning the hearts and minds of his countrymen due to this rapid victory, he quickly inspired Egyptians from both sides of the border to join his army and proclaim loyalty to the Pharaoh.
Suiyektu (You Are Reading This)
Military: Musketeers, Engineer Corps, Cuirassiers, Hwachas, Archipelago Frigates
Doctrines: Mercantilism, Meritocracy, Spies, Draft
Culture: Free Enterprise, Horse Husbandry, Tengrism (religion)
Issues: War Exhaustion (low)
-Peace has been made with Narthuria, but no treaty was signed. The fighting simply stopped happening as both sides lost interest in sending campaigns against each other.
-Military reforms have brought the musket and bayonet into service in Syiyektu's armies. The cavalry is finally brought into the modern era, their bows and lances replaced with pistols and sabers.
-To ensure that manpower requirements are met in future wars, a draft is initiated, bringing men and women alike to serve in the armed forces.
-The navy produces an experimental ship armored with steel plates, thick enough to deflect cannon fire. All three prototypes sink upon leaving their drydocks.
-Study of the stars has revealed a number of things, and has invited Starlove astronomers to visit universities across the country to both preach about their faith and enlighten the students about stellar phenomena.
Narthuria (Spider-Byte)
Military: Tercio, Crossbowmen, Heavy Cavalry, Cavalry Archers, Engineer Corps, Galleons
Doctrines: Public Investment, Penal Army, Public Education
Culture: Knights Tharos, Narthos (religion), Warmongerers
Issues: War Exhaustion (low)
-Frankus Drakis, a wealthy entrepreneur, sails to the new world with a group of colonists to establish a claim for Narthuria.
-Myushyin is renamed Ulluriia and a giant bronze statue of the Black Prince is erected in the city center. The burned out city is rebuilt with modern Narthurian architecture and a healthy investment by the government has encouraged immigration to keep the location from disappearing from the maps. In the postwar, it has developed nicely, coming to resemble its prewar glory.
-Starlove refugees are accepted from Onvast, although they are pressured to assimilate, removing much of the incentive for them to move in the first place.
-A road network is laid out across the nation and mapped, making land trade and military logistics easier to handle.
-Public education is funded by the monarch out of his own purse.
Divus (Taryn)
Military: Tercio Infantry, Mortars, Cannons, Barques
Doctrines: Harbor Mirrors
Culture: Crab Cruelty, Stellar Surveyors, Tower of Babel (under construction), Sunnism (religion)
Issues: None
-Something happens. Having to do with constructing a giant tower, I'm sure.
Striate (Owen, The Communist Tree)
Military: Arquebusiers, Crossbowmen, Cannons, Caravels
Doctrines: Mandatory Service, Religious Tolerance, Resource Subsidies, Elite Forces, Vetting
Culture: Militant Patriotism, Unitology (religion)
Issues: None
-Nothing happens.
Kathian (Twisty)
Military: Zealot Musketeers, Cuirassiers, Cannons, Gun Carriages, Flamethrowers, Sail Fleet
Doctrines: Missionary Warriors, Mercantilism, Code of Conduct, Field Promotions, Inquisition, Terrorism, Draft, Spies
Culture: Perfectionists, Xenophobia, Kruztatlism (religion), Janissaries, Racism
Issues: War Exhaustion (high)
-Gun carriages, heavily armored boxes on wheels containing cannons and flamethrowers, are created and added to the armies. They are slow things and highly impractical in the face of a concerted assault, but are useful for defending artillery against snipers.
-A spy network is founded, infiltrating empires and city states around the world.
-The colonies continue to expand, supported in their effort of deforestation by government commands to level the jungle.
-Public funding is given to the establishment and continuation of existing opera houses, museums, and theaters. The public is somewhat upset about this development, feeling that the money would be better spent on the armies so that Kathian's many wars can be resolved sooner and the peace can be rapidly restored.
-The pike is abandoned and the arquebus improved upon. Bayonets and muskets are now the primary, and arguably only, arm for infantry.
-A blockade is established upon Tokyo and Sendai, although this makes little difference to Japan's war effort as they retreated from the oceans ages ago. An invasion force is also sent to Osaka, but the commander of the detachment returned home without having even landed; he claimed that the city was unassailable, and that to land ther was suicide. He was dismissed for insubordination and replaced with a lesser skilled, more loyal commander. The attack went as planned, and the city was taken after heavy losses. Being unable to reinforce themselves with fresh supplies and troops due to the heavy diversion of resources to the invasion of Sprawl, the city was soon retaken by Japan. This was not before Osaka could be razed, however; much of the city center was burned to the ground, and the HEATHENS who lived there have been massacred.
-The majority of Kathian's forces are pushed further against Sprawl, which is gradually caving to the invader's advance. Titan has fallen, forcing the government to go into exile to the west. Soon after, Rhea also fell, and the armies are advancing rapidly upon Hyperion. DEUS VULT.
-The road network is expanded into Korea.
-The navy is reformed to include a huge variety of boats. Rather than focus on any one particular kind of strategy, the fleets are now extremely diverse.
-Females are included in the draft, now fighting alongside their male counterparts. Individuals who do not meet the physical requirements of the army are sent into logistical and medical fields.
-The nation is tired of war. Humble prayers have been submitted in letter form by mothers across the country, crying for peace. Demonstrations have also been held by student groups and veteran associations. As it stands, Sprawl is in no condition to negotiate, and an unconditional peace could be imposed upon them.
Sprawl (Sergeant Arch Dornan)
Military: Zealot Tercio, Priest Corps, Light Cavalry, Camel Riders, Engineer Corps, Caravels
Doctrines: Egalitarianism, Literacy Program, Total War
Culture: Alien Admiration, Unitology (religion), Knights of Unity
Issues: War Exhaustion (extreme), Total War
-Public funding is entirely diverted to the military, with gunsmiths receiving the majority of the funding for production of gunpowder and weapons. Trading companies are commanded to put their caravans and ships towards logistic work. This policy of total war is particularly taxing upon the population, which is unenthusiastic about the war and doubtful of Sprawl's chances to pull through it intact.
-A large force is sent to attack Syraus. Equipped with superior arms, Sprawl's forces are able to end the siege of Dione and take Heiko.
-The capital has fallen to Kathian armies. The government has retreated to Iapetus, which is judged to be the safest city in the empire at the moment.
-A plan to establish a colony in the new world is scrapped due to the intensity of the war effort and the lack of control over the seas that Sprawl exerts. To succeed in maintaining a colony, a supply line would need to be established, but with the enemy controlling the seas more effectively than Sprawl, there is no hope for such a thing.
-With the loss of the capital the nation is in a panic. People everywhere are fleeing the country, seeking more peaceful Unitologist lands such as Carim and Hessaria. Many of these refugees are wealthy businessmen, who are taking their capital with them to make new businesses elsewhere. The cities of Dione and Aegis, particularly scarred by the war's indirect effects, have threatened secession if the conclave is unable to formulate a peace treaty immediately.
Monarchy of the Roses (Tchefuncte Bonaparte)
Military: Spear Warbands, Light Cavalry, Flamethrowers, Galleys
Doctrines: Egalitarianism, Public Education, Samurai
Culture: Tulip Traffickers, Rose Retailers, Pyramids, Mechanarianism (religion), Egalitarianism, Jazz
Issues: None
-The state takes an involved role in the education system, building universities across the nation.
-A samurai general from Japan, disenchanted with his government's corruption and weary of the endless war, has left on a journey of enlightenment. After gathering a loyal corps of apprentices from countries around the world, he has settled in the Rose kingdom. Soon made aware of his samurai school and the wide variety of skills this man has, the master swordsman is hired by the government and is placed in a minor administrative role in his local community. His school has begun churning out new samurai, similar in skill and philosophy to the old master, benefiting the nation as a whole as they too become hired in various provinces.
-The study of anatomy, among other things, is brought to the country by the aforementioned samurai.
Orientale (Starscream)
Military: Arquebusiers, Lightning Cavalry, Cannons, Star Forts, Caravels
Doctrines: Central Bank
Culture: Christianity (religion), Cat
Issues: War Exhaustion (medium)
-Public aide is distributed to keep the war effort from becoming too burdensome upon the population.
-A national banking system is established, allowing the government to closely control inflation and interest rates nationwide.
-It is realized that wherever there is an overpopulation of cats, there is less plague. The reason why could never be determined, but the correlation being recognized many people have come to highly prize cats as pets. By the time the plague had ended, nearly every other household in Orientale was home to at least one cat.
-Corpses brought back from the war effort are sent to universities to be studied and the field of anatomy grows as a result. The clergy frowns on this behavior, but it is so prolific that there really isn't anything they can do to stop it.
Cuba (Major Bummer)
Military: Musketeers, War Priests, Star Fort, Cannons, Galleons
Doctrines: Penal Slavery, Spies, Inquisition
Culture: Fish Fanatics, Christianity (religion)
Issues: War Exhaustion (high)
-Naval reform has seen the use of bigger, more heavily armed sailing vessels called galleons.
-Pikes are abandoned entirely and the bayonet makes its debut in the army.
-The plague has gradually died out, and the worst of its effects are now over.
-Having connected the spread of the plague to vermin, city engineers have devised plans to abate the spread of disease. Hygiene systems, such as pipe networks and trash collection, are established to keep future outbreaks from becoming as severe.
-The war on Japan continues unabated with almost no positive results. it seems that the front line has ground to a bloody stalemate; the Japanese refuse to make any advances against the coalition forces, and the coalition cannot succeed in any of its assaults. To make matters worse, chaos in the Ambrosian government has caused that country to back out of the war, effectively removing all of the most capable and motivated leaders from the war effort.
-Priests across the country are calling upon the council of bishops to end the war with Japan, with some of them using particularly vehement rhetoric preaching about the sinful nature of war in the first place. Most of them present the same story, saying that their parishioners are praying for their sons to come home and for the war to end.
-The Pharaoh has launched an offensive into Ambrosian Egypt and, finding success there, continued his escapade into Cuban territory, liberating his whole country in one swift campaign.
Zaris (Tyranid Warrior)
Military: Musketeers, War Priests, Flamin' Crossbowmen, Flamethrower, Cannons, Caravels
Doctrines: Inquisition
Culture: Engineer Exaltation, Nature Negation, Mechanarianism (religion)
Issues: War Exhaustion (high)
-All the cool kids are using flamethrowers, so why not Zaris too? The Purgator 9000 is added to the arsenal. Capable of spewing forth hell on earth at a pressure rate sixty times higher than the competition, there simply is no alternative.
-Why not crossbows too? The army lights all of their crossbowmen ON FIRE. Just kidding, only the bolts are on fire.
-Gunpowder not only burns, it explodes! So, why not have that too? The swords of old are ditched for much more modern weapons, the musket and cannon.
-Armor is found to be completely ineffective against gunfire except at very long ranges, and does more to restrict movement and tire soldiers than it does to protect them. By and large, the use of armor is abandoned.
-The line is held in Sprawl; rather than making any advances, the army simply holds out in the territories that it already controls.
-A petition has been delivered to the government, with overwhelming support, calling for an end to the war. The public is tired of this foreign conflict, which appears to be gaining no ground and only senselessly wasting Zarisian lives and coin.
-Colonization of the mainland continues, now at a faster rate thanks to the use of fire and explosives to level huge swaths of forest in no time flat.
Carim (CrowTheMagician)
Military: Musketeers, Grenadiers, Lightning Cavalry, Flamethrowers, Cannons, Mortars, Caravels
Doctrines: Meritocracy, Spies, Free Trade, Welfare, Mandatory Education, Natural Rights, Central Bank, Religious Tolerance
Culture: Gothic, Olympians, Egalitarianism, Occult Studies, Empire of Bliss, Carimite Heathenry (religion), Unitology (religion), Individualism, Valkyrie Order
Issues: War Exhaustion (low)
-Carim's constitution is rewritten, and a proclamation is made that the republic is now stronger than ever with its new system of checks and balances alongside federalism and separation of powers. A new parliament is established, and the government is now led jointly by a President and a Chancellor.
-Sausage and beer production rise due to a wave of popularity for the products that becomes ingrained in the culture of the people. To facilitate further enjoyment of these products, the drinking age is lowered to 16.
-Natural science is on the rise as enlightenment thinkers branch outside of dogma and tradition, examining the facts of nature to develop philosophies and theories.
-The bayoneted musket has been developed, and gradually replaced older versions of the firearm. Mortars are also added to the arsenal.
-The inquisition is disbanded with the establishment of religious tolerance edicts, promoting equal treatment of all religious groups in the nation.
-The colonies expand rapidly with federal support.
-An invasion force lands in Orobostan and marches straight for their capital, Orobo City. The enemy has a difficult time putting up resistance, and the city soon falls.
-Another army is sent into the territories of the former Vilanoan empire, conquering much land there.
Hessaria (Black Graphic T)
Military: Musketeers, Engineer Corps, Medics, Flamethrowers, Caravels
Doctrines: Mandatory Service, Religious Tolerance, Military Retirement & Citizenship, Warrior Poets, Chemical Warfare
Culture: Dragon Detractors, Seafarers, Unitology (religion)
Issues: None
-A medical corps is established, to both help treat battlefield injuries and research medicine. Along with this reform comes government grants to researchers outside the army who work with curative herbs.
-Chemicals are now being practiced with by the army. Various kinds of smokes and airborne toxins are being experimented with for lethality or mere irritation.
-Firearms are purchased from abroad and implemented as standard military armaments. Soon it is realized that Hessaria's entire army is horribly outdated, and very quickly all of the old melee arms are abandoned in favor of bayoneted muskets.
-King Markham has called for more support in the colonies, offering massive land grants to anybody willing to make the trek to the new world. With support from his fleet, thousands of intrepid, poverty stricken individuals flood into the new world, establishing small farming communities along the fertile coastlines.
-The jazz phenomenon, having reached Hessaria, has become quite popular after the King himself proclaimed public support for the art form. Hessaria's own brand of Jazz has developed as a fusion of traditional music and the methods of foreigners becomes manifest.
-Effective armors against gunshots cannot be found; although metal does prevent longer ranged shots from penetrating, for the most part there is nothing that can guarantee any dependable rate of survival for soldiers. Metal helmets and cuirasses aside, the idea of armor is mostly abandoned in favor of higher mobility.
-Prince Vhargus sends an expedition to meet with the Kathians and explore their homeland. The news he receives in return is quite upsetting; the Kathians seem to be a grim, zealous people with a passion for conquest and conversion. Due to their current war with Sprawl, the Kathians also have a somewhat passionate distaste for Unitology in particular. The Prince feels very threatened by this foreign state.

-The city of Ikki is commanded to gather Japanese corpses from the battlefields and send them to Kathian and Ambrosia for studying. Unfortunately, this plan fails to execute because of the fact that the Japanese, having won every single battle, were able to carry all of their dead home for burying, and also for the fact that Ikki is in open rebellion and refuses to follow any commands from the capital.
-What remains of intact Doonish infrastructure is destroyed. Canals are poisoned, bridges are demolished, and fields of caltrops are laid out. This does little to slow the advance of the Japanese, instead only destroying the legacy of the king as his reign comes to a termination.
-Japan takes Boori with no contest, finally ending the reign of King Olaf the Unwise.

-Kathian has declared war and blockaded much of the southern ports. Osaka was invaded by the enemy and burned to the ground. Due to the simple problem of logistics, the enemy was forced to retreat; had they been provided adequate reinforcements there is no question that the city would have been held. In their wake they left absolute devastation; the entire city center has been razed and much of the population massacred in what has become the bloodiest day in Japanese history.
-Ambrosia engaged in a terroristic campaign of naval hegemony, sending fireships to explode in major harbors and sinking civilian ships indiscriminately. This event has sparked anti war protests, and the formation of a peace faction in the government that has taken command of their affairs.
-Doon is annexed, the last pockets of resistance easily stamped out. The people are incited to join the army, and are offered free cures and good wages if they perform well. A great many accept, upon seeing the deliverance that Japan offers from the plague, greatly reducing any chance of rebellion in the new provinces.
-A medical corps is established for the distribution of not only plague cures, but also remedies for other ailments and wounds. The medics are made as a separate branch of the military, loyal directly to the bureaucracy, to keep the samurai generals from monopolizing access to the cure.
-A new unit, armed with musket and grenades, is added to the armies for the purpose of frontline assaults against fortified positions. They are also armed with smoke bombs to make retreats and advances masked from enemy sight.
-With their power greatly expanded by the annexation of Doon and the effective loyalty of the people there, and feeling threatened by the taking of cure administration out of their hands, the Samurai generals have staged a strike on government commands. They are demanding an end to the war so that their armies and the conquered territories can recuperate. Already they have signed an unsanctioned peace treaty with the peace faction in the Ambrosian government.
-Ninjas are sent into Orientale, in an attempt to assassinate many local and national figures to pave the way for an invasion. The operation is something of a disaster, and most of the ninjas who survive their missions return home with nothing good to report.
-The front lines are reinforced with armored towers called Mimawarigumi. More reinforcements are also sent to support the planned invasion of Orientale, but the Samurai rebellion has made it impossible to make any advances into enemy territory.
-The plague is finally dying out. It seems that, at last, the people of the continent have developed a natural immunity to it through natural selection and the ultimate test of gaining immunity through infection.
@Orobostan: I was not trying to attack you I was focusing my forces to attack Oboro from the former Fittland empire. I may have accidentally misspelled the name, my bad.

I looked up your turn, you spelled it correctly. I must have had a dyslexic moment, or maybe I assumed you made a typo and meant Orobo. Honestly though, in the future you should say what geographic region you are attacking. There are over 200 cities, and hunting down Muinoar was a pain in the butt.
