Saw this on the Subreddit wanted to share it.
Just went to Tumblr today and checked out my favorite cancer ships… All I found was bloodshed. I cried halfway.
Judging from how quiet things have been, I'm guessing we're probably not going to be getting any new info from the NYCC.

I wouldn't say that.
Anyone wanna start a minigame to lighten this thread's mood up?

Saltuations! And welcome to the new RWBY General. Since the last one got locked down long ago and I don't really want to necro that one better if we start a new thread, right? As for start some rules above the site rules:
- No ship wars
- Do not insult others
Pretty much that's all, for topics:- RWBY Chibis
- Favourite Shipping
- Favourite characters
- Theories, within limits
- Volume Predictions
That's all for now, enjoy your stay!

Salutations! And welcome aboard!
What would you do if there was a faunus right infront of you?

Greet them and inquire as to why and how did they get into my room.
Okay guys. Rooster Teeth just released a fancy RWBY recap. Here you go!
This will summarize the story so far. Good if you wanna hook in a friend.

Call a insane asylum to get myself committed, because a fictional character just appeared in front of me.

It could just be a stalker-furry, though.

I doubt Stalker-Furries could teleport, unless it's this guy:

WOR: Vale WOR: Mistral
Let's learn with Professor Branwen! Oh my god this is so awesome!
Oh EDIT: Vale for today, Mistral is for subs. Mistral will be available for free users too tomorrow.
PSA: Please do not post any Volume 4 Spoiler Material here until Sunday (every sunday, not just this one), some of us… most of us, has no subs (yet) and it would be fun ruiner to spoil the episodes for someone, however after the episode is released for the Non-Subs users too, it is free to discuss anything. You can still post images in the thread as long as it is tagged as Spoiler. Thank you!

So we can't talk about the new episode at all? Even with a spoiler tag?

Well…. you have to wait only 24 hours. The wiki also waits 24 hour before putting up the transcript of the episode. Plus by that time more people will see it so more can add to it.
So, I have to wait until tomorrow to get pass the paywall on RT's site to watch the episode for free just like last season?
Can't watch the episode today, but from the volume 4 intro it looks like I'm going to get plenty of screentime this season. Maybe my character will grow beyond edgy sjw creep. Probably not, though.

Yes. Just make sure you have a free RT account.

And that's if we don't do and accidental DDos, again.

Would be interesting to have a legitimate redemption story. I mean, whenever you see them in most forms of media these days the person being redeemed usually hasn't done anything particularly bad. It would be nice to finally have a legitimately crazy asshole and have them become a chaotic good or at least chaotic neutral character. It would make for good tension with RWBY, at least.
I just watched the new episode.
I love it, and I am holding myself back from saying a lot of things. Especially some things relating to the end credits.
Also, highlight for not-really spoilers, since it really has nothing to do with the episode other than a gag that I'm not even spoiling for you that you wont even be able to understand:
I now ship Jaune X Velvet
So, here's my political view on Remnant's kingdoms/continents/ or whatever the fuck you call them… Countries?
Vale – Named before/after the city itself, Vale is pretty much Canada being annexed by America because from what I see; Canada has animals that can appear out of nowhere if you're out in the woods, even wolves which explains why Grimm are everywhere in forests and mountains. As Qrow said that living here is like living in a first world class country… With protectors living outside civilization and saving people.
Mistral – What happens if all of the Asian countries gave birth to one? The answer? You get Mistral. Asian culture, basically a third world because of the "UGH! OH SOUH HUNOURABRUU!" government the citizens are in and most of them Law-Unabidings are thieves, pirates, or even blades-for-hire from the underground. Wanna start a Yakuza Mafia? If you wanna disappear and never to be seen again, Mistral is your next destination.
Atlas – Well, looks like Germany and Russia has stepped up their technology. Both countries fought with more gunpowder and machines than any country in WW2. This kingdom is pretty much those two countries combined into one. Germany built technologies far more advance, Russia literally made half of it's population armed with guns and serving with the military, and both ruled with an iron fist.
Vacuo – Imagine Egypt with a downside; Egyptians replaced with Aztecs. Vacuo, or as I like to call it Vacuum since the other kingdoms almost sucked it's resources, is pretty much like your Middle Eastern society.
You know, I have to wonder: Why are they called "Kingdoms" when there's no evidence to support the notion that any of them were ever ruled by a monarch?

Maybe Maidens? I don't know but fanon-garbo wants Pyrrha to be an empress rather than a huntress. To me, Pyrrha should stay a huntress rather than a hierarch but who am I to give an opinion?
Silent_Witness wrote:

Cause they were. Up until the Vytal Truce and the Great War, Kings and Queens were ruling over the Kingdoms, Atlas is the only Kingdom that was never ruled by kings or queens cause such thing as Kingdom of Atlas did not exist until sometime after the Vytal Truce.
Okay the Episode is out! It's now free to discuss! Also, okay… from next on week on, you can discuss Episodes here on Saturday, BUT! You need to put everything episode related into a Spoiler tag!
Well… topic No.4 I think that wasn't Ironwood, he didn't look a bit like Ironwood, but rather Ironwood's relative. The rest later…. there's a blood lust now on my head so I can't think clearly.

So are you saying it's actually Ironwoods evil twin brother, Colonel Jim Woodiron?
First of all…. spoilers only needed when an Episode is not public for free users at least. Secondly, no, I more of think among the lines like he's Ironwood's nephew. Yeah seems older than Ironwood, but that's only cause Ironwood shaves!
Oh, also, from what I saw Crazy Laugh Guy (I know he has a name, I'm just too lazy to look it up) uses both his hands and feet to fight, sort of like Voldo in Soul Calibur.
If Yang and Mercury don't team up to take him down at some point I'm going to be pissed. Hands and Feet VS Hand+Feet guy.

Right so the obvious topics of discussion:

> Blake with her family (I assume it's her family. Is it racist to assume that?)
> Ironwood has a beard now
> New weapon upgrades
> Random white haired guy at the end credits (Who kind of looks like a câ–¼nt)
Anything else?
Silent_Witness wrote:
In regards to point #2, you have to admit that he might still have some connection to the Spring Maiden at the very least. I mean, showing him after they explicitly mentioned her can't have been an accident.
I assume he might be a relative of her or something, and he's going to freak out and ask RNJR to find her to protect her (Which will, obviously, cause Crazy Guy to cream his pants when he realises Ruby and the Spring Maiden are going to be together).
Alternatively, one theory is that Ozpin's "Old Man/Wizard" powers get passed on like the maidens, and Oddly Cute Farmboy was the (possibly) random recipient. One power could be the ability to have visions of other places, which is why Ozpin knew about a Queen (Who isn't Cinder).

Well….. He obviously woke up to nightmares, here are the few things that could have cause it. Just random thoughts.

On another note, I hate to sound overly cynical, but yeah, I think Pyrrha's gone for good. Yeah, it sucks, but death kinds of tends to be a somewhat permanent arrangement, and I'm not gonna hold my breath for some fairytale resurrection. Hell, RNJR barely even mentioned her- which, I guess isn't surprising since at this point, she's probably been dead for about as long as they knew her while she was alive and thus would have had time to move on (more or less), but still…
I wouldn't be surprised if there's going to be some ghost stuff going on with Jaune's new armour. Joan of Arc heard voices, right?
So imagine if Tyrion was sneaking up on him, about to slit his neck from behind, and suddenly a slight black aura goes around Jaune's shield and he somehow turns and deflects his attack just in time. It would be a nice callback to Jaundice, how Pyrrha helped against the Ursa.

"Haunted armor"
Follow Cinder's method, burn it with fire!
Okay let's talk about Cinder….
I have to be honest. She seems broken, I mean she went from "All the time Shit-eating-grin" to "I lost all my will to live frown". I have to say, what happened to her is unstatisfying! This isn't revenge or punishment, this is just plain torturing! This isn't how you punish bad guys! This is how you set up a redeeming arc! Hell… if anyone would kill her now, I wouldn't call them heroes, I would call them emotionless bastards! And yes, I do know what Cinder did, but still! This isn't the way to go! Kill her when she's a smug son of a bitch not when she lost all her hopes and dreams!
Rant over…. Opinions guys?
I kept thinking to myself why Ruby used an electric type attack against an enemy that's clearly a Rock/Ground type.
And this kind of is unnecessary torture for Cinder. Then gain, she was just humiliated by a child. That's gotta be rough.
I was intrigued by how Grimm reproduce. Can only Beowulfs come out of that specific pool? Or can any Grimm pop out of those pools? How much time does it take in between spawns? How do the Grimm form inside that black goo?
I didn't get a "I've lost all will to live" vibe so much as a "I will stab you in the fucking throat" vibe.
That said, while it could realistically swing either way, redemption seems unlikely. It seems more likely that after too much prodding from Watts, Cinder will rush out to hunt down Ruby in a blind murderous rage. The circumstances may force RNJR's hands, but while they might not kill Cinder, there isn't a chance in hell they will ever accept or forgive her for everything that she's done.

Well, you're right. But the problem is that she isn't fit for a redemption arc. she is way over that point and her moral compass doesn't seem affected by that, maybe that's the purpose of her recovery in narrative terms, to expose the new weakness and send her away to avoid triggering that effect. The only way to give her the status of evilness she had before is making her do something worse in my opinion
Question, can Salem see things like an RTS player? Is she playing Grimmcraft on Remnant? Is that what's going on?

More like Dungeon Keeper. Or Dungeons and Dragons, She has a dragon and I bet she also has a dungeon! … Though I wouldn't go into what kind of Dungeon that is…..
