I'm not exactly sure where I read this, but before his passing, Monty apparently behind a fairly significant amount of material for Rooster Teeth to work with, and made mention of a seventh season, possibly even further. Now, I'm aware that you can't rush something like this, and as terrible as this is going to sound, I really hope that isn't the case. As much as I adore the series, I do not want to have to wait until in over 30 to find out how it ends.

Sadly… that's not how it works. Just look at Red vs Blue. 13 years and still going on.

Well, RWBY takes pretty heavy inspiration from fairy tales. But the thing about fairy tales is that, sooner or later, for better or for worse… they end.

Well… I always thought 7 seasons means 7 Volumes. Will see.

To be fair though, that might have just been talk from Monty. I read somewhere (most likely just RWBY's entry on TVTropes) that he left behind enough material for RT to work with to go up to a season five, but the source isn't exactly reliable, and there's no way to know what RT actually has in store.

Is Yang secretly a Faunus?

Totally. She's secretly a dragon faunus, and the reason she doesn't like people touching or cutting her hair is because it hides her horns.

(I don't actually believe this, I just like the theory as a concept.)

And there comes RVB still leading.

Uh… do "Volumes" and "Seasons" mean different things for the FNDM? Because I've been using them interchangeably up to this point.

I don't know honestly, I can't find any reason why they call them volumes nor if volumes make up seasons. I always thought RWBY is just trying to be unique by calling it's seasons Volumes and it's episodes Chapters. So overally we have 7 years of RWBY in case of 7 Volumes.

Anyone want to post their favourite RWBY fanfics?
Here's my least ones;

Ten Little Hunters [Solving Mysteries n' shit while dying]
Dinner with Team RWBY [PLEASE DON'T READ THIS]
Are We The Heroes? [I'm a Rosewick trash -- sue me, bitches.]
Two Sides of a Bloodied Coin [Rosewick]
Freelancers Forgotten [RVB x RWBY crossover.]
The Colorful Heroes of Remnant [Another RVB x RWBY crossover]
To Remnant, From Chorus [RVB x RWBY crossover]

That's all, folks!

Haven't really read enough RWBY fics to have a favorite, but I will (reluctantly) admit I'm in the process of planning one. Things have kind of stalled though, since I'm debating whether I should wait until I have more information on certain aspects of the series (backstories, the nature of Ruby's power, the nature of the Grimm, etc.) before I begin writing in earnest, or if I should just be a man and start now.

Eh, my favourites are ones that you've probably read already, like Arc of the Revolution and Not This Time, Fate

I have to say, though, I'm getting sick of seeing these "Gamer Jaune" stories all the time. It might be interesting if they had their own rules, like Multiplayer is, but most of them are just Jaune faffing about, learning "Aura Arrow!" then "Heavy Aura Arrow!" then "Spinning Aura Arrow!" then "Aura Dart!" and so on without ever having a use for it or making it interesting.

Can you guys think of any fics or types of fics you've read that are popular but you absolutely hate?

A Change of Heart: A parody of reformed Neo fics.
Always the Mornings: Yang gets PTSD, because why not?
Cards Against Remnant: RWBY and JNPR play Cards Against Humanity, but Remnant-themed.
Remnant's Reclaimer: A super well regarded fanfiction about a grizzled future Ruby going back in time to save everyone. It's longer than To Kill a Mockingbird.
Pet Quartet: A cute reimagining of Team RWBY as animals.
Nora Kills a Bunch of Everybody: The best fic.
Ruby vs. The Machines: Team RWBY's weapons turn into people and become Ruby's harem.
Beasts of Burden: Weiss acts racist and gets her ass kicked.
Ruby Slippers: Take Me Home: A surprisingly well-written fic about Ruby falling in love with Glynda Goodwitch while subconsciously looking for a substitute mother. Holy shit does Ruby have problems.
Professor Arc: Instead of becoming a student at Beacon, Jaune accidentally gets a job as teacher.

A while ago, it occurred to me that with most of the action moving away from Vale, and with Beacon out of commission, it's probably going to be a while before we see a good portion of the cast introduced in the first three volumes, if we ever see them again at all.

I don't like fanfics………..

So guys…. here's this. Apparently Chibi is working on Seasons and they finished it, that means probably next time, on RWBY hiatus we will get Chibis again.

Yeah, I read somewhere that RT wants to make RWBY Chibi a regular thing between seasons. I'm more interested in finding out how many more episodes there are going to be. Judging from the recency of the announcement, and that Chibi episodes aren't that long, I'm guessing probably not that many.

Hey guys! Let's have a little fun! The next week's game topic is…..

Proganda Atlas maybe used against Faunus!

Okay I start it…

"According to the latest researches made by scientists working on genetic engineering, the Faunus kind is maybe the result of humans engaging in sexual intercourses with Creatures of Grimm"

Okay I start it…

"According to the latest researches made by scientists working on genetic engineering, the Faunus kind is maybe the result of humans engaging in sexual intercourses with Creatures of Grimm"

"Researchers theorize that Faunus feel emotions more strongly than humans; thus, areas with large populations of Faunus are more likely to attract Grimm, and attract them in greater numbers."

This is an except of a post I made on the RWBY forum of another website. Now, I don't know if this is a topic that's already been touched on here, but I was curious to see what people thought about it:

"So, I was doing a little bit of thinking. Specifically, I was thinking about Aura. Now first off, it’s been established that there are civilians in RWBY- people who don’t have their Aura unlocked. Hell, Jaune didn’t even know Aura existed (now, that could be because his family was deliberately withholding the knowledge from him, but it’s probably a safe bet to assume that other people would be just as clueless as he was). Now, in a world where, at any moment, horrific monsters could break into your home and kill or horrifically maim you and your loved ones, why wouldn’t you want someone to give you what amounts to, essentially, a personal force field? Even without the Grimm, it would serve to protect people from injury in other contexts, and that’s not even getting into the benefits provided by Semblances. Unless there some drawback to having your Aura unlocked that hasn’t been revealed yet, even if you didn’t intend to become a Huntsman, getting your Aura unlocked seems to be nothing but beneficial. So in a world like Remnant, why wouldn’t having your Aura unlocked be standard procedure for, I don’t know, every single person on the planet?"

I can think of a couple reasons.

A) The council makes it illegal to unlock Aura's without being part of a fighting force (To make it easy to detain common criminals and such)

B) Aura, being an extension of your soul, ends up drawing Grimm to you, since they might be drawn to those with a soul that's easily visible (Just a random theory)

C) Hidden side effects. Maybe it causes you to die earlier since you're constantly using up bits of your soul to protect yourself.

D) Only certain people are able to unlock Auras, and Pyrrha just so happened to be one of them, meaning that in order to have yours unlocked you would have to send a request form to the government for them to send an unlocker to your house or something.

E) Perhaps unlocking Aura is a personal process usually only done by family, lovers or really close friends. You're basically putting someones soul into yourself to unlock your abilities. Perhaps Pyrrha unlocking Jaune's Aura counts as getting to third or fourth base.

Not a bad idea…. none of them but I rather present Occam's razor. Which means the simplest solution is the more plausible. In this case, the human nature.

As the technology advanced and the cities became more safe, people became equally lazy. Aura unlocking is a tiring procedure, and as the population's number raised, they realized it's easier if just a selected number of specially trained people protects the population. Sounds stupid idea? Not really, we saw even regular soldiers with normal rifles could take down Grimms, Ursas and Beowulfs and so on, advanced androids can protect lot of area without the need of sleep or coffee breaks. So Hunters really only to carry out special assignments, catching criminals, eliminating high vaule targets (Grimms and Humans alike), and so on.

So in short, cities safer = humans lazier = not everyone has Aura. So much some don't even know anymore what is that. And honestly, why would you explain it to your child? They will bever going to use it anyway!

A thought occurs to me: with the Vytal Festival and other tournaments held between aspiring Huntsmen and Huntresses held across Remnant, there really is no way that somebody could not know about Aura, unless they were completely cut off from that kind of entertainment. So, knowledge of the existence of Aura must be publicly available.

If I had to guess, having one's Aura unlocked must be restricted in some way by the Councils, but judging from the existence of criminals like Roman and Cinder, these restrictions are probably pretty easy to circumvent.

I don't think so. Dunno if you read my previous post. Anyway this is entertainment not The More You Know show. Maybe they know what are hunters but don't know about Aura, for them that is irrevelant information. Like the gladiator shows in the Ancient Rome, you don't know how gladiators prepare, you just there for the show.

Well, I actually have to side with Silent_Witness on this. Remember, the entire way you figure out who's winning is by looking at Aura, which is the thing that is projected onto the giant screen in the stadium and on TV.

I don't think he stupid. More likely, Jaune's family was deliberately withholding information from him to discourage him from becoming a Huntsman. Though I'm curious as to why- is it normal parental protectiveness, or is it because they believed that he would be too weak to survive the training?

New Theory: The moon is a giant parasitic Grimm that's trying to feed or reproduce by shooting parts of it onto Remnant as Grimm. It's able to take off parts of itself to turn into Grimm similar to what the Grimm Dragon does.

By doing so, the Grimm start to suck the natural Aura from the planet (Mostly meaning humans for now, since they have the most). It's hoping to convert the planet into a second version of it or simply into its food.

Remnant, however, managed to create its own way of fighting back, namely Dust. As in, the entire planet is somewhat sentient enough to create defences for itself.

(I'm theorising literally anything at this point, TBH.)

I'm not confident in my ability to speculate about the physical nature of Remnant, but there are two points I agree with you on: the current state of the moon is most likely connected to the Grimm in some way, and that Remnant itself is alive in some way, and it doesn't want its inhabitants to leave.

Think Zanza from Xenoblade, but not as malevolent. Or maybe Remnant is is malevolent. I don't know.

I'm unconvinced, I say the moon looks like as it is cause an asteroid hit it, and the pieces fallen on the planet created the Dust or caused the creation of Dust. It's just… if the moon is a fucking Grimm why didn't destroy Remnant Majora's Mask style.

Winter was the one who said the moon was a giant Grimm. All I'm saying is that I think whatever event caused the moon to break apart is also responsible for bringing the Grimm to Remnant.

Not that it matters since the origin of the Grimm is probably a question that will never be answered.

Considering where the show seems to be heading. I half expect the big twist of the story to be that Grimm are actually just hunters that gave in to despair.

Let's talk about the 2 most favourite things of everyone: Sex and Money.

Or actually ecconomy and Laws & Regulations on sex, but honestly if I start it with that you wouldn't be interested. So anyway let's tackle the first.

Ecconomy! Money! Dosh! Ching chings! So why is this important? Well I was just thinking that how each country recieves it's incomes and what expenses they have? Well firstly is obvious not country is same as the other, much like in real life countries usually rely on resources they own and/or technology they can develop and use in commerce with other countries. In real life let's take USA and UAE (United Arab Emirates), UAE sells oil to US, they in exchange it for Weapons (if they say not, don't believe them, they do). Or Japan, imports resources cannot be acquired on their island in exchange they create technology they can sell.

We can also translate this onto RWBYverse, there's Atlas, giving protection, technology and via SDC resources to other countries, but probably they lack something, food! So who's the gardener of the nations? My bet is Vale, seeing they aren't really militaristic (not like we know anything about the other countries but somehow I got the feel Mystral and Vacuo is a bit more fighty than Vale). And really that's all… Vacuo probably gets money from tourism, and Mystral is probably have a ton of mines they care to share with SDC in exchange with some percentage of the profit.

Now about the laws on sex. After talking with Winter over steam we concluded something. Since we know Grimms were probably around here longer than Dust, humans were suffering great losses, how did they survive? Well they f#&@ed like bunnies, man! Regardless of blood relation and age, they kept reproducing so they survived until stumbling upon Dust, but then everything changed! Except maybe the common thoughts on sex, since humanity still has issues with Grimms something as age of consent either doesn't exist or tied to the puberty when you are able to have kids, though probably since that they made incestive sex illegal.

An after thought as closing, as I said previously, technological advancing resulted in safer cities which resulted in lazier people, but probably also caused a Baby Boom so the human population rapidly increased, so much cities had to expand, some like Atlas probably were succesful thanks to their advanced military, but others like Vale had to face failures, such as Mountain Glenn, some maybe compensated with land advantage like Mystral with the swamplands. Also one more thought for food, what if the extreme in-breeding of humans in the cavemen era caused such mutations as we can see on the Faunus? What if the Faunus are the results of this?

Penny wrote:

HEY NOW! I'm am NOT stupid! I'm just under educated in this field. And no, my family isn't all hunters. It's just we HAD hunters in my ancestor, I'm the first one in last couple of generations to become a serious hunter.

You are likely correct, I just want to prove them wrong that I CAN become a hunter. I maybe far from a great hunter, but at least I AM a hunter.

Technically speaking, you aren't a Huntsman until you graduate from Beacon.
