Nah, I don't think she's playing DnD, but she probably is playing Dungeon Keeper.

Okay let's talk about Cinder….

I have to be honest. She seems broken, I mean she went from "All the time Shit-eating-grin" to "I lost all my will to live frown". I have to say, what happened to her is unstatisfying! This isn't revenge or punishment, this is just plain torturing! This isn't how you punish bad guys! This is how you set up a redeeming arc! Hell… if anyone would kill her now, I wouldn't call them heroes, I would call them emotionless bastards! And yes, I do know what Cinder did, but still! This isn't the way to go! Kill her when she's a smug son of a bitch not when she lost all her hopes and dreams!

Rant over…. Opinions guys?

I have a feeling Cinder's going to come back stronger and deadlier because of her defeat. Ruby's powers manifesting when they did ultimately broke her confidence and shattered her plans. Like a wounded tigress, she is only licking her wounds and will not underestimate her enemy again.

Slight problem with that: She's not allowed to leave Salem's side. So I can honestly see her going rogue and making a third faction in order to get the powers herself.

No, Fighting a two front war is a bad thing. What i would do is wait until I am in the right spot at the right time, and THEN back stab Salem. Why? Maybe all of this was the deepest 'The count of Monte Cristo' style revenge? Think about it.

For the moment, she's not allowed to leave her side. She is still recovering and likely not at the necessary strength Salem needs her to be at. Plus, considering she now has (what we assume to be) the whole of the Fall Maiden powers, it would be foolish to send her out in her current condition. (One can liken it to sending out a force of your finest troops when they are all injured and recovering from grievous wounds.) In addition, she will most likely need time to properly understand and harness her powers to their full potential. (Something that Salem is probably overseeing personally.)

She may not see action in the near future, but rest assured, she will probably pose a more serious threat than ever before.

Oh, I am sure I'll be back.

Also, the loss of my eye might just be temporary as well. Having Maiden powers might give me something to correct it. That and I'm still likely learning the finer point in using it. Also, The Maiden powers also come with a major drawback that Salem pointed out. Likely it's the power of the silver eye warriors. Although I wonder why I can only speak in a whisper. It's not like my voice box got cut up.

That isn't so possible. aura can only fix certain classes of damage, it didn´t rebuild yang's arm or fixed weiss's scar, I really doubt that your eye will come back in his previous state. It's more probable that you'll get a substitute, either mechanic, or transplanted from a human or grimm.

Not talking about Aura, but the powers of the Maiden itself. Granted it's a wild card that we don't yet fully know what it can and can't do. I just can't rule that option out.

I think that kind of ruins the entire point of the Ruby Vs Cinder event if she got it back, at least normally. I can see her possibly getting a Grimm eye at some point in the future, though.

Probably an unknown ancestor forgotten by blood.

Well… I think… I mean Em and Merc were even joking that he was some sort of cat like a puma.

Hmm… not bad idea… but honestly I prefer it the more scientific explanation. Pieces from the moon fallen to the surface and formed the crystals knows as Dust.

Like a magical fossil fuel.

Angelirio wrote:

But why would the moon turn into dust.

Because the moon was a giant Grimm that the Old Man destroyed. Bringing it back is Salem's evil plan, which will involve getting the maidens power together into one body, since it's actually the Grimm King's evil power that he decided to divide and give to four people.

If this becomes canon I'll laugh

I have a hard time believing it…. sounds too ridiculous…. but if you think of it… possesive Grimms like Gheist can posses things like Regirock boulders.

Wai wai wai! Hold the fuck up! I just realized what Hazel (the burly bear man) said about Ruby being silver eyed warrior:

"Yes. We've dealt with her kind before. How is it a novice was able to best one of us?"

This give us 2 informations, first, a possible explanation to how Summer died, and that they are well prepared to and experienced in killing Silver eyed warriors, thus giving us an explanation where did they disappear.

The second is proven by Dr. Snarky Mustache Watts:

"My thoughts exactly. Even without her new power, it should have been effortless."

Last edited Oct 24, 2016 at 03:16PM EDT

And then when Salem said "It is because of her new power that she lost" (or something along those lines) it's clear that Silver eyed warriors have some sort of anti-Maiden power. Then again, it was already implied that it was the case when Qrow told Ruby about her powers.

Dark Pyrrha Nikos wrote:

And THAT is why I got the maiden power. We have to have something to be able to go toe to toe with those silver eyes.

I think that you arent eyeing the situation with a deep perspective. Your new maiden powers will get you weaker to the silver eyes, this will increase if you decide to take other maiden's power.

Hey, wait a second… The Grimm Dragon spawned smaller Grimm from its back… and we saw pools on the ground that also spawn Grimm…

Either Salem is on a giant Grimm Turtle right now, or Remnant IS a Grimm…

If Remnant is a living and breathing Grimm beneath our feet, then why haven't it corrupted the entire lands and people into it's color?

Oh, but it has. Don't you recall?

But seriously though, it might actually be a giant Grimm-island or continent that they're on instead.

So in this post, I'll tackle now 3 points.

  • Oddly Cute Farmboy (To the hell with me if I don't talk about him!)
  • The birth of a Grimm
  • Salem and Co.

Well let's start with the first point, Oddly Cute Farmboy (OCF for short). Some you say he's the spring maiden what else, he's not a he, now I'm here to explain you why you all wrong and should be shamed for it!

Let's start with the most obvious, he, as in it, is obviously a guy. How do I know? Now I could cause of the VA but that would be stupid. No, my evidence….. is the masculine voice… okay that seems not much of an evidence itself but you can't bring up any evidence I can't prove otherwise! Well okay maybe…..

So the first evidence the Reverse-trap supporters brought up is he was shown after the Spring Maiden was mentioned, I say bullshit! For one good reason, he woke up after Tyrion's evil laughter, Now I'm pretty sure this is a trope, so I say he was shown not cause of the damned Maiden but cause he's somehow related to Tyrion, possibly cause Tyrion killed OCF's parents or something like that.

Second Evidence: Cause he was gardening……… Crickets chirping Riiiight…. that is reeeeaaaallllyyyy solid point, nah! Just kidding! Let's be honest guys, the dude lives alone in an abandoned old barn, as far as we saw there's not even electricity there! So considering if you sit on a ton of seeds and gardening tools, what are you going to do? Farm obviously!

Now with that out I have to say…. We have no direct evidences to neither…… Except one thing, his voice is too masculine…. seriously reverse-traps may have deep voice but his….

Anyway next point…. let's hope I didn't reach character limit yet.

Birth of Grimm… yeah this gonna be fast! So as we all see Grimms are born from a tar like stuff! What is that? Well it's easy! We have no idea! Anyway apparently enough large and old Grimms can also generate this stuff as we seen in the case of the Wyvern (Grimm Dragon).

Salem and Co. Salem and Co. as we seen are a Grimm bitch and sinister humans….. humans always the humans! So what we have here is Dr. "Snarky Mustache" Watts, "Burly Cuddly Bear Man" Hazel, "Psychopath from Legend of Korra" Tyrion and Cinder "Justice Served Unstatisfyingly" Fall. The last one is as Watts said "Pathetic". Anyway their name together forms WTCH, and I'm sure Salem is a witch, so if Ruby and her friends have to deal with them one by one then we could say this is Salem's WTCH trials! Haha! Get it cause… hehe! Okay whatever you guys are no fun! Anyway let's see them one by one.

Salem:
- Grimm
- Head of the Salem and Co. Villain Factory
- Owner of Fort Evil McBad.
- Seriously should get tan
- Eviiiiiiiiiiil!

Cinder:
- Neo'd
- on road to became a pirate, yarr!
- Seriously needs to get her shit together
- If killed now, I would rather feel sorry for her than laughing over her dead body

Dr. Watts:
- Archrival of Mr. Schnee on the field of Mustachology
- Snarky af
- Has a neat personalized Scroll
- Only picks at the mentally or physically disabled
- Likes to think Salem holds him high but in reality Salem wouldn't even notice if he disappeared all of sudden

Hazel:
- Burly
- Cuddly
- Bear
- Man

Tyrion:
- He looks like he escaped from Legend of Korra
- Is a psycho
- Likes to laugh at his own jokes, like seriously man?
- Will kill for money

Have we talked about why Yang's the only one facing away from the viewer in the promotional art for Volume 4? Ruby's facing forward, Weiss is facing forward, Blake is facing forward, so why is Yang the only one turned around?

The prophet did it again?

I think some people got to see the episode early and it was described to the rest of us. I remember reading about the villains before the episode came out, I think.

A little thought for food. So since we know bunch of new villains, I take on the one who probably created the Virus for Cinder. Of course this one- unless turns out Hazel is a computer genious which I highly doubt -is Dr. Watts. So I already said few things on Watts, but now let's a talk bit more in depth of him, I also plan on giving more thoughts about the others too but Watts first. So his name is come from the plural of Watt, who we all know is the inventor or more like just enhancer of the Steam machine!

No no…. not that one.

This one! Steam machine or engine is a machine that generates electricity in a currency that dear Watt is named after himself, so Watt? Now with the general knowledge down, let's see Dr. Watts. Judging from his name, if it's any indicator….. well it is cause it's a unit of measurement therefore an indicator!

No? Okay…. so anyway judging from it he's related to machinery, if your guess is steam machinery….. no…. but what about a complex and seemingly really important business, robots? While I believe my father is the big name in robotics, probably dear Watts used to work with my father until he fired him, then he was found by Salem and in exchange to take revenge on my father, Salem provided him with enough funds to launch his own corporation, probably in one of the 2 remaining kingdoms we didn't see or heard of enough yet, I'm talking about Mistral and Vacuo, we know Vacuo is more like broke down version of the United Arab Emirates or more like an actual Iraq and Iran, while Mistral is known to have technological advancement but we know nothing about their robotic technology. So god knows, if the White Fang has my remains maybe he will rebuild me to serve Salem or something like that.

AM I the only one honestly wondering how all the villains found Salem? Like, did they just turn up one day, knocking on her front door out of curiosity? Or does Salem occasionally put on a pound of makeup and go into cities to find new evil henchmen?

I'm more interested in learning why people would knowingly side with an entity that, as far as we know, is hellbent on the extermination of their entire race.

Heh….. Grimm is not as evil as the human nature! Everyone can be bought, one way or the other…

I assume that it's probably something about rebuilding the world with them as leaders. You know, like they each get one of the continents to keep, with TOTALLY domesticated Grimm. Salem definitely isn't going to betray them so her Grimm can be the only "living" things on the planet! Of course not!

Actually…. surprises! But Salem isn't going to exterminate humanity, why? Cause if she wanted she would did that already! No… Grimms need food, and what Grimms eat? Well I believe they digest emotional energy, especially negative ones, that's why they are attarcted by such emotions, no wonder! These are the strongest emotions a human can feel! The strongest any sentient being can feel, sadness, fear, anger. So rude comparison but think of it like domestic animals such as pigs, pigs give us food, in exchange we don't kill all of them, just the dangerous ones. Or big fatty ones! Anyway you get the concept.

Last edited Oct 27, 2016 at 06:10PM EDT

If Grimm need negative emotions for sustenance, why kill all humans in sight? If they keep on killing humans, there won't be enough negative emotions to go around. There's only so much despair a person can have before developing some shit to cope, or even completely shutting down.

Jaune taking phyrra's jewelry and making it part of his armor and weapons made me choke up a bit. Im a sucker for sappy stuff like that.

Dunno…. we really don't know traditions of Remnant, maybe this is the most honorable way to remember a fallen hunter who was close to you.

Ah yes, what a lovely way to remember her, melting down her equipment. It's just like how Pyrrha was melted down by Cinder!

Oh, also, calling it now: Ren used to be part of a bandit group that ended up killing Nora's family. She doesn't know about that and thinks he was just another orphan from the attack, and Ren has dedicated his life to her as a means of making up for his past mistakes.

I'm more concerned about your butler! And his eye change shenanigans! It's just too Neo!

Interesting theory, but it also feels very unlikely, mostly because it just doesn't fit with how Ren and Nora usually interact with each other. Ren is also a bit too young to have been a bandit, a gang member maybe, but probally not a highwayman bandit.

Btw, was it ever actually 100% confirmed that Ren and Nora are orphans? And if so, when was that?
