I wonder when RT's gonna release the Vol. 4 trailer to the public. I know there's some recordings of it floating around, but apparently then animation wasn't finished, and I'd like to watch it in a quality higher than the average Bigfoot sighting video.

Technically speaking, you aren't a Huntsman until you graduate from Beacon.

I'm hoping that we get to the final Volume, have everyone still alive beat Salem (Or whoever the bigger bad is) and celebrate… then the 21 or so year-old cast (Aside from 19-year-old Ruby) have to redo their first year of Beacon in order to become proper Hunters.

No… but pretty sure fake ears, horns and tails do. Something as those disgusting Monster Girls maybe count as a major offense for parodizing Faunus.

As many of you are no doubt aware already, what RT is calling a character short premieres Monday. And judging from what we've seen so far, it seems to be focused on Ruby. So, does that mean there are going to be more of them focused on the rest of Team RWBY a la the Red, White, Black, and Yellow trailers back before the series premiered? And is this what we're getting in lieu of a traditional trailer?

Okay guys, apparently we have less than 24 hours till V4 Trailer, or just 4 hours considering it was 24 hours, 20 hours ago.

So is that just the trailer with Ruby fighting the gorilla Grimm, or is it a new one?

Surprisingly good. I mean, the voice acting is done by a single guy (And one girl for Pyrrha), but he's actually not bad, despite his claims to the contrary. The jokes are pretty good, honestly on the level of TeamFourStar in my opinion, and the characters actually feel like proper three dimensional characters, especially in Episode 3 or 4, and not just one-dimensional beings there to make jokes.

It's Summer.

Jokes (and audience noise) aside, it's looking pretty promising so far, so I'm curious about what Volume 4 will bring on premiere.

It's actually Fall now. It looks like it's late spring in the trailer.

No… Summer. The time skip is only 8 months, we already had a 2 months time skip at the end of the V3, which did put at December.

I had seen the bootleg trailer before on YouTube, but watching the official, clear version let me notice more details. Ruby herself seems more intense and serious during combat, which is encouraging. A little seriousness could add some much needed depth to the character. I just hope the writers avoid a few pitfalls. For one, I don't think Ruby should go from innocent child to grim warrior between seasons. Instead, I'd like to see her in a transitional state, trying to maintain her optimism but faltering under dire circumstances. Also, I hope Ruby doesn't suddenly become a stoic warrior who can handle everything being thrown at her. One of the big issues with Ruby so far has been her lack of personal problems making her a boring character. Now things are actually going wrong for her and I'd like to see that explored. Seeing strain her tragedies and situation are having on her could give Ruby some good character development. In short, she has to struggle to become a stronger character.

So, did anyone else happen to take a peek at the article that the trailer was attached to?

Twenty more seasons? Really, Lindsay?

I can see that happening. Notice how long Red Vs Blue been running? Hell, look at how long Simpsons and South park have been running. Animated shows can have longer running life spans than live action shows.

That is true, but many of the long-runners are episodic in nature and lack an overarching plot that connects all the episodes together (or in the case of RVB, they pick one up later on). RWBY isn't like them in that aspect- it has a definitive start point, and seems to be moving towards a definitive endpoint. Granted, they may need time to get there, but they will have to get there at some point. Sooner or later, for better or for worse, all fairytales have to end.

So I noticed something….

Local Area Only, huh? This actually tells more than I expected. These simple 3 words explain what happened after the fall of Beacon.

So apparently as I suspected with the Vale tower down, only the CCTS got disabled and the remaining towers still provide communication and so services but only within the kingdoms and the range of the towers and/or support arrays. That means Vale sucks big time, cause without tower they are left in some sort of dark age. Until the tower gets fixed, gangs will flood the streets and typical post apocalyptic life style goes on, well but only in the city, on Patch, Yang will be safe, until something happens and she gets mad, buckles up and goes in to play Sheriff. (And honestly her clothes gives me the feeling of she's gonna play sheriff.)

Here's my question; When will the neighboring kingdoms going to help Vale? I'm pretty sure Atlas owed Vale a big time with Ironwood.

Do you REALLY think anyone trusts Atlas after they saw their robots firing on them? I'm sure their excuse of "A virus just happened to affect all our mechs and cause them to destroy Vale" will go over smoothly. Especially after they brought an ARMY to what's basically the Olympics.

Never…. The kingdoms are pretty much on the edge..

Who the fuck cares about the robots?! Just wait 'til Atlas makes up their mind and starts dropping human soldiers out planes on Vale like it's Operation Market Garden. Besides, they call themselves the "Best Military Superpower in Remnant".

Yeah fuck you too!

It's not my problem that YOU, my mom, got sliced and recycled into quarters!
