Oh! Didn't know. Never played Zero Mission so I was unaware. Alright, so it's not pointless after all. (I hope they release Zero Mission on Wii U's VC soon because it's seriously the only Metroid game missing from my collection aside from the Pinball one which I don't really think counts.)

It's always good to have a little context. It's still not the most modest outfit, but It's definitely gonna be the way play ZSS.

So, how about those dumb "leaks"?

About as dumb as the rest of them. Minus the luck the Gematsu Leak had. All of these leaks will just get blown the fuck out like the rest of them.

That's why I always totally ignore them and barely acknowledge their existence. Even if these things were accurate, I still wouldn't care because I prefer not to spoil the game beyond the official Nintendo releases, because they're better at spoiling their own crap.

I wouldn't call that luck, considering that it predicted everything correctly up until the Fire Emblem reveal, although it did leave out Rosalina/Luma. There had to be some truth to that.

- Malladus Beast (Zelda Spirit Tracks)

That's about all I can think of at the top of my head. I loved the Brawl soundtrack so much and this one might be much better.

By the way, have you guys heard the Hyrule Warriors soundtrack? I know this is mostly unrelated but it's amazing. It surprisingly has a lot of OST. I expected mostly remixes. It's magnificent.

A new color palette has been revealed for Kirby. It looks like it was based off of Shadow Kirby. It bears a resemblance to the Bomb Boos from Mario Galaxy.

I wouldn't swear it isn't photoshopped. But if it isn't I hope there will be even Shadow Mario and Shadow Luigi palettes.

If you think about it, Ridley is surprisingly one of the most logical character for smash from fan character suggestions. He is a Nintendo character that is a villain from Metroid, with lacking representation. If you compare him to other character suggestions, like the tremendous amount of sonic characters, or Geno (who isn't legally owned by nintendo) , or the constant anime character suggestions like Goku or Ichigo, he is actually a logical newcomer… (aside from his height, obviously)

My only question about the footage itself is why the footage jumped straight from a Team Match with the player playing as Lucina to a Home Run Contest with Yoshi. And the load time was… INSTANT in that transition.

Otherwise, if this is a fake it's a VERY good fake. 10/10

It's footage captured off of a 3DS. And it appears to be, as speculated, footage sent to the ESRB so they could rate the game. That's why it immediately cut to HRC, It's probably just a jumpcut.

This could also explain why the images from the imgur link I posted are somewhat racy pictures. The ERSB needs to see anything that could be considered NSFW to properly rate the game.

I'm still remaining skeptical, but it's getting harder to do at this point.

Well, I can't really imagine someone would go through all that work just to fake something. The most infuriating thing about this to me though isn't the additional clones, it's that Ganondorf is just as pathetic as ever when they completely redid Bowser.

Ganondorf is a clone AND the worst character. If anyone needed a revamp it was fucking Ganondorf.

That aside I'm glad Shulk's in apparently.

I don't know what to think honestly, it's convincing footage, but there's still room for doubt, so I'm going to hold on for official information. Don't trust those images though.

There is one thing fake about this whole ordeal and that is the DLC character list the Motherfucking Leaker (that's the name he's going by) posted. He only included the cut veterans and the Chorus Kids just to mess with everyone and to catch any wannabe leakers that would use the list to make themselves seem credible.

This thread and the comments section, however, are perfectly fine for talking about the authenticity of the leaks. Speaking of leaks, apparently a no-audio mirror of the videos in question has been posted.

Although this part of the leak is dubious, I still think it's worth sharing. The person going by the tripcode on /v/, "Motherfucking Leaker"(The person responsible for the roster images last week), posted a cipher to 4chan.

People did eventually solve it, and found out it was an imgur file.

EDIT Another thing to note is that the cracked imgur link was notably posted 3 hours prior to when todays' leaks went live.

EDIT 2: ELECTRIC BOOGALOO – The Reddit leakers name "dubadubadubizatrue2" is notably a Rhythm Heaven reference. It's unconfirmed if they and Motherfucking Leaker are the same person. And the "izaTrue" at the end of the username was also the name of the channel the videos appeared on. The plot thickens… again.

The Motherfucking Leaker didn't make the Palutena leak. That was made by someone else who wishes to remain anonymous. I don't know why since Palutena is already confirmed but that is what the creator wants.

Another thing worth adding to the Palutena Leak is that the creator gave the Motherfucking Leaker those images which he posted to that thread as a way to increase his credibility.

Since he neglected to mention he got the images from someone else, people thought he made the Palutena Leak until a friend of the creator cleared up the situation.

So I'm confused. Is the fucking dog still in this game? If so I'm gonna lose my fucking shit.

An important announcement from Nintendo is due to come out tomorrow. It may or may not have to do with Super Smash Brothers.

Rumored newcomers from the Motherfucking Leaker, Ninka, and other leakers:

- Ridley
- Impa
- Dixie Kong
- Chorus Kids/Rhythm Heaven Representative
- Mach Rider
- Mewtwo

…in addition to what we've already seen from the roster leak that was supported by the video. It looks like there's room for up to five more slots on the supposedly completed roster (though the Motherfucking Leaker only said there'd be three, he threw five names out there), so it'd be interesting if Sakurai pulled a fast one and revealed another brand new character to throw everyone off to make them doubt the authenticity of these leaks (even though they're probably real). Ninka also mentioned Ridley, Dixie Kong, the Chorus Men, and Mewtwo when bringing up Shulk, Bowser Junior, and the Duck Hunter.

I think the announcement tomorrow is pokemon related. Probably no Smash news, unfortunately…

Hypothetically speaking, if the Characters Ninka and Motherfucking Leaker posted were true, this would be one fantastic roster. Ice Climbers or not.

So… with the reveal of tonight's Pic of the Day, it's pretty much set in stone that the leak is legit. I am still holding out for more content than was shown in that leak, buuuuuut….

It's like back in the Gematsu days. The hype was slowly dieing over time since Gematsu was predicting all the characters right. We knew what to expect and just couldn't get excited about the wonder of what is going to be the next character.

Now… we are back to that point. No more new hype can be produced. Two and a half years of Sakurai hyping this shit up wasted by a single employee who just wanted the damn attention.

I honestly don't care that it was leaked. The reveal doesn't get me as hyped as much as the actual trailers for the trailer. I think the same thing happened to UMvC3 and people were still hyped when they saw the actual trailers for the characters, so it's kind of whatever. I still feel a little bad for Sakurai. Poor sap.

Edit: I also don't think that's the entire roster. If it is I will be very disappointed that the shape of it is not a perfect rectangle, because that would be really frustrating.

I doubt that Bowser Junior is fake. I also doubt that that's the whole roster.

Also, while I'd love that, I'm strongly dubting about the Duck Hunt dog. Because he has a name "Mr. Peepers" and the only in-game 3D model we have seen was a mod of Olimar and the pikmins.

I don't understand why Sakurai thought we needed clones for two series that don't need any more characters right now. Mario getting two completely unique characters in Rosalina and Bowser Jr. Mario In His Doctor's Outfit is a waste of even the tiniest resources as a separate character now. I think Dark Pit speaks for himself.

We could easily get just about any F-Zero character as a Falcon clone, Dixie Kong as a Diddy clone, and a Bounty Hunter from Metroid as a Samus clone and MANY, MANY, MANY people would be happy.

I think Duck Hunt Dog, Bowser Jr., and Shulk are great choices… But the cuts + dozens of great series reps thrown out the window really ruin the whole thing for me.

Have you guys heard the new smash music? They've since added Green Greens from Kirby, The battle theme from Mario and Luigi Dream Team, A Mega Man medley (from the MM trailer at last year's E3) and Bath Time from Nintendogs (with lyrics). And I shit you not, the Nintendogs one is the best thing ever.

Wow, they've certainly been adding a lot. A lot of great remixes and music from past Smash games. I hope the new arrangements we haven't heard yet are good.

The number in the cross section is the number of times Pikachu has KO'd Zelda. This feature was in Brawl.
