I think it's my favorite reveal trailer so far.

Still maining Wii Fit Trainer though.

It is incredibly difficult to find images of female Wii Fit Trainer that I'd feel comfortable posting here.

Really, having a Boxing Arena be one of the stages in the initial reveal trailer did kinda give this one away. I was surprised absolutely nobody called it.

@Little Mac's Reveal Trailer
Holy jizznuts! Little Freakin Mac is a friggin playable character now! He looks like he'd add a whole bucket of variety to SSB4.
He isn't very locomotive in his games, so I don't think he will be either in the epic battle royale, meaning he won't have considerable speed or jumping prowess. I think to make up for this, he'd be a really deadly foe to fight in close range as evident in the release trailer; he's like a close-range machine gun!
I wonder however, how will his final smash be. It looks like he transforms into Big Mac (Eeyup) but unless they leave Wario Man (a simple dramatic improvement to all of Wario's abilities,) out of this game, Mac's transformation would be a cloned final smash. I'm hoping the transformation sort of turns things around; instead of being this tiny guy who stays put and rapidly hits anybody coming into close proximity, you're this big dude that zips and zooms all over the stage, sending everyone flying with each one-hit haymakers.

Also, look guys! I made a thing!

From the looks of it, Little Mac has zero air game and a pathetic recovery. To compensate he seems to rush in close (which will probably be aided by invincibility frames, given some of his stunts in the trailer) and pound the souls out of whatever poor shmucks are sharing the ground with him.

Definitely gonna be using him. You can't say no to a character that appears to have a built-in Homerun Bat.

You misspelled "literally everyone." Honestly, he was on practically every character prediction list you could find. He's both well-known (at least among Nintendo fans) and easy to adapt to Smash Bros., considering that Punch-Out!! is something of a fighting game in itself, so he was an obvious choice.

I really never played any Punch Out!! games. Okay a little of the NES when I was technically playing Animal Crossing. Seeing the Punch Out!! for Wii (watching Game Grumps of course) really shows how much I'm missing out. It has a colorfully upbeat charm with crazy and wild personalities only to be expected from Nintendo. Just watching the game gets me pumped and I really wished I played it (maybe I should get it). I also didn't realize Punch Out!! still had a following that it does. I personally hope that Little Macs spotlight on Smash Bros. 4 will get us a Punch Out!! game for Wii U.

There is a difference between Wish Lists and Predictions. Just because everyone spams the hell out of "I want Ridley!" doesn't mean that is an educated guess on he's getting in there.

Nobody I saw was able to make the call "Oh, the Boxing Arena means Little Mac".

Ever since the Palutena incident, I've kind of been skittish around the whole Smash site, It just knocked me down when on that friday Sakurai announced Lucario. Oh well. Anyway two character announcements were weekly this time? Could this be a new pattern? Also, MOAR SAMUSXMAC!

Diddy Kong, yawn.

I'm all for "expanding kong," and I like fighting with Diddy, but the news doesn't really move the needle.

Looks like a solid roster so far though (needs more Lucina.) I could fight with this and be happy.

Mega Man, Wii Fit Trainer, Little Mac, Rosalina, and all of the classic fighters…Feels good man.

That's just cruel.

I tricked two of my friends into believing that Ridley was going to be in Smash on April 1st. I even showed them that post to confirm it and they were both convinced and hyped. I told them to read further down the post and they did only to have their hopes and dreams crushed. When I told them the post wasn't even real, they were depressed. Me? I just laughed and laughed at them. It really took no effort to convince them that Ridley was in. Just saying, "Ridley's in the game. Sakurai announced it today" was enough to get them hyped.

I have been training my body for this momentous day. Let's party until it is Tuesday!

Also, a question. Who do you think we're going to see revealed at the Direct?

I'm guessing Sakurai will be a tease and confirm obviously returning characters like Yoshi, Falco, and Ganondorf, then shift gears and flood the planet with exploded brain matter by confirming fan favorite/totally unexpected characters.
Personally I'm hoping that King K. Rool and a Golden Sun rep make it in.

I am expecting Re-worked or Re-done Final Smashes, around 3-5 returning characters, and maybe 1-3 Newcomers.

Also, I am expecting a rundown of what the single player modes will be like.

It appears the stream today will include the launch window to the game, which I am very hype for. Obviously there will be at least one new character in the stream. Personally, I'm thinking maybe Chrom from Fire Emblem (My unlikely wish would be an announcement for bothe Phoenix Wright and Professor Layton joining, if only so I can do a real Ace Attorney vs. Professor Layton). See you guys during the stream I guess, if the buffering isn't too extreme this time (Damn you Ustream!)

Wait, so it'll be released on 3ds first? I don't really think that's a good move, all things considering…
Oh and I'm looking forward to playing For glory, fox only, final destination.

Greninja's cool… I guess, but I was hoping for a character announcement a little meatier. This is just kinda meh. Game looks cool otherwise, I love what they've done with the online mode, as well as how they've tried to make some characters more balanced.

I am disappointed on how the Pokémon are handled in this. Not only was the legendary I thought was going to have possibility only appears in a Pokeball, but now my least favorite starter of Generation VI is a playable character.

I really liked the pokemon trainer thing they had the last game. Sad to see it go with the Charizard release. Oh yeah, there's Yoshi too.
