About

2kManos "Ay, We Pulled Up To Every School, Started Looking For Gold" refers to lyrics from a rap song called "Bounce Out" by California rapper 2kManos. His snippet went viral on TikTok in August and September 2025. Listeners believed that his lyrics didn't make sense and that his rapping was off beat. In turn, users began making memes with the song and about 2kManos, often using him as a symbol for the Edgar archetype of young Latino men. The perception likened him to the genre of meme rap.

Origin

On March 18th, 2025, YouTuber[2] RichardDummy shared a music video for 2kManos' song "Bounce Out," featuring other California rappers Lil2kManos, RealJr400 and 2kBlueface. The video received over 43,100 views over six months. At the video's 0:18-second mark, 2kManos raps, "Ay, we pulled up to every school, started looking for gold."

Lyrics

Ay, we pulled up to every school, started looking for gold.
I had that shiesty on me, you know I was in that mode.
You know I can never say no, I'm busting a mission like it's 2.0.
If I go broke, I'm risking it for a check.
I'm tryna have a bad bitch with diamonds on her neck.
Will you hold it down for a young'n? I'm really the best.
Soon as we had the glock, I went to Amazon and ordered a beam.
Your bitch look good, she keep looking at me.
I'mma try and take her and pass it to my whole team.
