Cardi B Throwing Microphone At Fan, also known as Cardi B Throwing Microphones, refers to a viral video in which American rapper Cardi B throws her microphone at a fan that splashed their drink on the singer during a July 2023 show in Las Vegas. The incident quickly went viral as the clip spread on social media, subsequently inspiring a series of memes and reaction images using the original video as an exploitable.
Origin
On July 29th, 2023, the Twitter[1] page @PopBase uploaded a video showing Cardi B being hit with liquid from a cup, which she then reacts to by throwing her microphone at the fan. The post (shown below) garnered over 108 million views and 415,000 likes in three days. After the incident, the singer gave a short pause before continuing with the show.[2]

On July 30th, 2023, Twitter user @TheJuicePop[3] then posted a video moments before the incident in which Cardi B is telling fans to splash water at her. The post (shown below) garnered over 693,000 views and 4,500 likes in one day.

Roughly 24 hours after the splash incident, the singer threw another microphone during a separate show, this time toward her DJ at the end of her set in Drai’s Beachclub in Las Vegas. Twitter[4] user @KxngCardo posted a video of the moment (shown below), which received roughly 15 million views and 41,600 likes in one day.
