Death of Ted Kaczynski, also known as Death of Theodore Kaczynski or Death of the Unabomber, refers to the June 2023 death of American terrorist and prisoner Theodore Kaczynski, also known as the Unabomber, who died in his prison cell on June 10th, 2023, at the age of 81. His cause of death was suspected to be suicide by major news outlets. The event led to a slew of memes across social media sites like Twitter and Reddit, among others, in the weeks that followed.

At around 12:25 a.m. EST on June 10th, 2023, Ted Kaczynski was found dead in his prison cell at the Federal Medical Center in Butner, North Carolina.^[1] Federal prison officials believed that Kaczynski died by suicide.^[1]
