On April 4th, 2025, Instagram^[1] user la_memensa posted a Spanish meme of a dog sitting at a table captioned, "yo después de pedir con hambre pensando cómo haré para comerme todo eso," which roughly translates to, "me after ordering without thinking about how I will eat all that food," garnering over 12,800 likes in seven months.

On May 29th, Instagram^[2] user hard.images posted a version of the same meme with the caption, "Everybody flaked so I brought Tony," garnering over 191,000 likes in six months.

On June 3rd, 2025, Instagram^[3] user i_have_no_memes96_v2 reposted the meme, garnering over 39,000 likes in five months.

On July 3rd, Redditor Ani_HArsh posted an edit of the meme to the /r/MemePiece^[4] subreddit, replacing the dog with Tony Tony Chopper from One Piece, garnering over 2,100 upvotes in four months.

On November 13th, X^[5] user @BrendanDaGawd reposted the original Tony meme, garnering over 24,000 likes in six days.

On November 14th, 2025, X^[6] user @contextdogs reposted it to over 12,000 likes in five days.

On November 16th, X^[7] user @_VioMarks_ posted an edit of the meme replacing the dog with Toby Fox's dog icon, garnering over 20,000 likes in three days.

Later that day, X^[8] user @NotAZygardite posted an edit featuring the Pokémon Zygarde, garnering over 14,000 likes in three days. It was reposted by Instagram^[9] user dragonajoestarr that night, garnering over 6,000 likes in the same span of time.
