About

Finding Neverland is an image macro series featuring three screen captured panels depicting a conversation between the characters Barrie (played by Johnny Depp) and Peter (played by Freddie Highmore) in the 2004 drama film Finding Neverland.[1] The first panel features a teary eyed Peter announcing why he's upset, followed by a panel of Barrie looking at him sympathetically and a final panel in which the two embrace.

Origin

The images are taken from the final scene in Finding Neverland in which Barrie promises Peter to always be there for him and assures him that his dead mother has gone to Neverland (shown below). The original image macros are rumored to have originated on 4chan sometime in 2008, but no archived threads have been found.
