Halloween: Just the Facts, also known as Pull Up Fo Fo da Fo Fo, refers to a low-quality snippet of a rap music video in which a green-screened skeleton runs by the rapper who's nonsensically rhyming, "Pull up fo fo da fo fo." The video was deemed lost media and lostwave by internet sleuths who could not immediately identify the original song or music video in the early 2020s. Some discovered that the beat was called "What If," created by SoundCloud producer ChopStix Ronnie in 2019. On Twitter / X, users called the video "Halloween: Just the Facts" because of an edit that added a Halloween-themed title card that read the catchphrase.

In direct correspondence with Know Your Meme in late 2025, X user @ARGGENT3 revealed that they created the original Halloween: Just the Facts video in 2022. However, the song remained lost until October 2025, when an X user posted the full-length track.

Origin

On October 1st, 2022, X^[1] user @ARGGENT3 shared a video that started with a title card reading, "Halloween: Just the facts," layered over a jack-o'-lantern pumpkin background. A skeleton is seen running across the screen as a man in a white hoodie walks forward. The back track is a rap song with the lyrics resembling the onomatopoeia, "Pull up fo fo da fo fo." The video received over 80 likes in three years.

In direct correspondence with Know Your Meme on October 21st, 2025, @ARGGENT3 claimed ownership of the video, stating that they found the music video snippet on Instagram sometime in 2021 and added the title card over it.

In subsequent years, X user @ARGGENT3 shared the Halloween: Just the Facts video and variations of it on every day of October.

For instance, on October 13th, 2023, X^[2] user @ARGGENT3 shared a video edit meme that started with the Halloween: Just the Facts title card, gaining over 1,300 likes in two years.

On October 19th, X^[3] user @ARGGENT3 quote-tweeted one of their Halloween: Just the Facts videos, writing, "If anybody can find the OG song I’ll CashApp u five bucks," gaining over 1,000 likes in two years.

On October 1st, 2024, X^[5] user @blephin_ shared a wider crop of the original video, writing, "'Halloween: Just The Facts' was a part of someones music video and the full video has been lost to time for who knows how many years now. I want this to be the last Halloween not knowing what the source of this video is please help me find it for this Halloween season 🙏." Over one year, the video received roughly 2,800 likes.

On October 2nd, Instagram^[4] user @squidysgalaxy reposted the original video, gaining over 8,400 likes in a year.

In 2025, X^[6] user @ARGGENT3 continued to share new Halloween: Just the Facts videos, like one on October 2nd, 2025, that layered multiple skeletons, gaining over 13,000 likes in 19 days.

On October 10th, Instagram^[7] user @bupinup shared a video edit meme that used the Halloween: Just for Facts title card, amassing over 26,300 likes in 11 days.

Song Discovery

On October 20th, 2025, X^[8] user @evinaryerin tweeted, "HALLOWEEN JUST THE FACTS / FOFO WAS FOUND," attaching a music video for the song used in the Halloween: Just the Facts meme. They then replied to the tweet with the video's source, which was posted by Instagram^[9] user @sagecells.mixtape on November 16th, 2019.

The original Instagram video received over 1,800 likes in six years. @evinaryerin's tweet received over 8,600 likes in a day.

X^[10] user @evinaryerin followed up on their tweet in a reply later on that same day, stating that the music video seen in the original meme was still lost. They attached longer clips of the video in the post.
