Head Bite Wojak refers to a Wojak Comic in which a crying male Wojak and female Wojak exchange dialogue, after which the male Wojak proceeds to bite her head in a monster-like fashion.

Origin

On July 5th, 2020, Redditor^[1] Babepop posted a Wojak Comic depicting an interaction between a crying male Wojak in sunglasses and a female Wojak (re-edit of Doomer Girl). Crying Wojak attempts to return a wallet to the female Wojak, to which she reacts by telling him that she has a boyfriend. In the second panel of the comic, the male Wojak unexpectedly turns into a monster and bites her head. The post (shown below) gained over 9,600 upvotes in /r/dankmemes in one months and received viral spread online in the following weeks. For example, a July 31st, 2020, repost by Facebook^[2] group LIT MEME GUY II received over 3,600 reactions and 600 shares in one week.

On July 10th, 2020, Instagram^[3] user paigepaii posted a dubbed version of the meme to Instagram, where it received over 67,500 views and 10,800 likes in one month (shown below).

In July 2020, the comic gained notable popularity online, particularly among users on Facebook, with several viral versions being posted on the platform. For example, on July 22nd, 2020, Facebook^[4] page Rappers In Peculiar Places posted a Chief Keef meme that received over 2,400 reactions and 950 shares in two weeks (shown below).

Starting in late July 2020, the comic maintained a moderate presence online, with users changing the lines said by the characters.
