About
I Hope They Play "Fein" refers to a TikTok trend based on the Travis Scott and Playboi Carti song "FE!N" being played in unexpected settings. The video meme format involves one person saying, "I hope they play 'Fein,'" and another person responding, "But we're in X," with the "X" being substituted for a setting like "school" or "math class," among other places. The closing scene in the video format cuts to a person either playing or singing the "FE!N" chorus with people surrounding them in a circle, holding their phone flashlights. The trend started in August 2024 when the original video was posted.
