No, la Polizia and Italian Brainrot Arrested, refers to a series of AI-generated videos of Italian Brainrot characters getting arrested by police officers. An AI voice says, "No, la polizia," over the clips, often with an extended, "Nooo." The videos surfaced on TikTok in early April 2025. Notable examples include Brr Brr Patapim getting arrested and the original Italian Brainrot character Tralalero Tralala being taken into custody by cops. The No, la Polizia sound also gained use outside of Italian Brainrot memes.

On April 2nd, 2025, TikToker[1] @brainrot7708 posted a video showing the skeleton from the Hotspot Bro meme getting arrested by police with an AI voice saying, "No, la polizia." Over three weeks, the video received roughly 386,700 likes (shown below).

The video started a viral TikTok sound[6] that was used by others in the following weeks. For instance, on April 6th, 2025, TikToker[2] @matteodiandrea used the sound, showing police in Milan, Italy, who pulled them over in their car. Over 19 days, the video received over 817,900 likes (shown below).

On April 19th, 2025, TikToker[4] @yourhonor823 shared an AI video of Tralalero Tralala and Tung Tung Tung Sahur being arrested, gaining over 305,500 likes in six days (shown below).

General use of the original No, la Polizia sound continued in late April 2025. For instance, on April 20th, TikToker[5] @maxi_sgr0 used the sound, showing a dog in the backseat of a cop car. Over five days, the video amassed more than 7.9 million likes (shown below).
