About
Jaking It or Jakeing It, also known as I'm Jaking It, is a slang term used in a series of memes featuring a photoshopped image of Jake the Dog from Adventure Time sleeping in bed with what appears to be an erection under a blanket. The memes are often accompanied by audio of a robotic voice saying, "Oh yeah, I'm jaking it," over what sounds like slapping masturbation sounds. The memes were started by Instagram Reels user nogginboppers in late January 2025 and further popularized on the app by user freememevan21. They were further popularized on TikTok in February 2025 by user @imjakeingit69, garnering viral spread in the following days and weeks.

On January 21st, 2025, Instagram[1] user nogginboppers posted a video beginning with a scene from Adventure Time, which then abruptly cuts to a photoshopped image of Jake lying snuggled up in bed, in which he appears to have an erection, over audio that repeats in a robotic voice, "Oh yeah I'm Jaking it," garnering over 31,000 views in two weeks.

The meme was further popularized by Instagram[6] user freememevan21. For example, on January 25th, 2025, the user posted a version of the Jaking It meme that gained over 200,000 views in just under two weeks.
On January 30th, 2025, TikToker[2] @imjakeingit69 posted a video starting with a scene from Adventure Time in which Jake the Dog talks with some water maidens outside his house. The video then abruptly cuts to the same photoshopped image of Jake in bed, garnering over 1.1 million views in four days.

The same TikToker continued to post "Jaking It" edits over the following days, with other TikTokers doing the same. On January 30th, the TikToker[3] posted a version of the meme that gained over 800,000 views in four days.

On February 1st, TikToker[4] @stanley.mov posted a video consisting of sped-up footage of Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios set to the audio, garnering over 305,000 views in two days.
