Que Pro is a video meme used to express ironic respect and admiration, generally seeing use in videos as a sarcastic reaction to an unimpressive feat. The clip shows a picture of Finn and Jake from Adventure Time with Roblox Man Face while the song "FIGHT!" by Aests plays. It mostly sees use in Clash Royale, Minecraft and Geometry Dash videos.

Origin

The picture of Finn and Jake was taken from chapter 24 of the third season of Adventure Time, named "Ghost Princess," which premiered on January 30, 2012.^[4] The Man Face was published on Roblox in July 26, 2012. On May 6th, 2021 Redditor Scootthebro posted the Roblox Man/Finn and Jake image in r/GoCommitDie,^[1] gaining over 1,100 points.

Precursor

The meme may be based on an April 26th, 2021 video uploaded by CesarSamuel in which Sans from Undertale is depicted saying the phrase (shown below).

Spread

On May 26th, 2021 Memedroid^[2] user Fernanda.a uploaded the first image with the phrase "que pro" (shown below).

On August 9th, 2021, YouTuber Bismardo uploaded the first video edit using the image, having it appear in a clip of Clash Royale. The video gained over 1.1 million views in five months (shown below, left). On October 18th, YouTuber MordoAlt uploaded what would become the most popular edit of the meme to date, gaining over 6 million views (shown below, right).

The has also appeared on TikTok. To date, the most popular example of the meme on TikTok was posted by el_d0rito on August 16th, 2021, gaining over 9.5 million views (shown below.)
