The other character is supportive until after their friend transitions and ends up looking exactly like them, with the friend saying, "Man, HRT sure is amazing." Applejack says, "That's great! As your friend I'll support you no matter what." We then see that the character has transitioned and looks exactly like Applejack. They say, "Man, HRT sure is amazing." Applejack is unimpressed and says, "Why the fuck do you look like me?" The post garnered over 8,800 likes in four days. This is the earliest known example of the meme.

The same user made and posted another variation of the meme to X[2] that day, garnering over 14,000 likes in four days.
