She begins the video by saying, "Kim Kardashian" in a strong Boston accent (shown below). The video gained over 19 million views in two weeks. Nogueira has received criticism for her accent before, which some people believe is fake although she insists is real.^[2]

The video's original sound was used over 46,000 times in the next two weeks, with the most popular videos showing footage of pets getting scared as she says "Kim Kardashian," as if she has scared the pets. For example, on May 11th, TikToker^[3] @claudia_sarabiaa posted video like this that gained over 10 million views in a week (shown below, left). On May 12th, Twitter^[4] user @jhilikeye posted, "i had to block that mikayla girl on tik tok for the way she said Kardashian," garnering over 490 likes in the same rough span of time. On the same day, TikToker^[5] @thedivinecaroline posted a similar video that garnered over 12 million views in a week (shown below, right).
