About

My Name Is Gustavo x Cult Classic is a remix of Playboi Carti's song "Cult Classic" with a line of dialogue from a Los Pollos Hermanos training video promoting Better Call Saul where the character Gus Fring (played by Giancarlo Esposito) introduces himself to viewers, saying, "Hello and welcome to the Lost Pollos Hermanos family. My name is Gustavo, but you can call me Gus." The partial remix was posted to TikTok in June 2022 and inspired full remixes on YouTube in the following weeks, the original sound also going viral on TikTok that year.
