"No One Trailer Should Have All This Power", also known as *No One X Should Have All This Power" and "Power Goes With Everything", is a catchphrase that refers to trailers, or other videos, using the Kanye West song "Power" as the audio track. Origin

Although Kanye West's 2010 single "Power" had been used in a TV Spot for the movie The Social Network in July 2010, it wasn't until E3 2011 that it became a popular in YouTube mash-ups. During E3, two game trailers were presented that used the audio track:

The Song

Kanye West's "Power" was released on May 28th, 2010 as the lead single for his fifth studio album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. At one point, the song reached the 22nd spot on the Billboard Hot 100 and received critical acclaims from Rolling Stone, Billboard and Pitchfork Media among others. The music video for the song premiered on August 5th, 2010 and the VEVO version on YouTube has been since used to create mash-ups with Tubedubber.^[5]

On June 9th, 2011, Giant Bomb writers Ryan Davis and Jeff Gerstmann^[1] tweeted about the catchphrase referencing an inside joke about the E3 trailers.

On June 11th, GiantBomb^[2] forum member DG991 started a thread asking for official and unofficial videos of E3 games that feature Kanye West's "Power" as the soundtrack. Giantbomb's staff then highlighted the thread on the front page and tweeted it out to the subscribers. It was posted to the DarkFall Forums^[3] the same day. On June 14th, Epic Games video game designer Cliff Blezinski demoed Gears of War 3 live on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. At 1:35 in the video, he uses the line "No one man should have all that power."
