About

Boy Throb is a boy band made up of influencers Anthony Key, Darshan Magdum, Evan Papier and Zachary Sabania, known for their song covers on TikTok and Instagram Reels. The band started posting videos in late October 2025 that encourage viewers to get them to one million followers so that their member Darshan Magdum, who only appeared via video call, can get a United States Visa and perform with them in America. The band gained significant attention in their first month of posting, garnering over 800,000 followers on TikTok and 400,000 on Instagram in that time. As their virality grew, Boy Throb inspired discussions about whether or not they're satirical, a claim that they refuted in late November.

< Notes So... November 23, 2025 at 10:05 There's a leaked video circulating online of us at a retirement home. While the reception is mainly positive, there are quite a few unkind comments-- mainly people asking if we're "satire". We know our content can seem playful and fun, but comments like this really affect us, as we are aspiring to be legitimate artists. But we're not going to let this negativity stop us, in fact, we've been actively using it as fuel to prove the haters wrong, which is why we are currently in the process of creating ORIGINAL music! That's right, we're working on our debut single! < Notes debut single! Simultaneously, we are blown away by all the support from our TRUE fans- All of you Throbbers in the Throb Mob. So we just want to make this clear: We are not a joke. We are Boy Throb. (P.S.: We'll be releasing a full video of our retirement home performance tomorrow that will hopefully give you more context. It was an AMAZING experience MM)
