About

Cyborg Orrin, also known as Orrin the Cyborg, refers to a man who believes he's a cyborg from the year 2050. Orrin first appeared on an episode of Dr. Phil with his mother in early 2020. Cyborg Orrin generated memetic spread mostly due to a meme that showed him on Dr. Phil with the caption, Niggas Just Lie For No Reason. The meme was used as a reaction image to humorously criticize people for lying on social media. In 2025, Cyborg Orrin memes and posts went viral on Twitter / X and elsewhere. His likeness was used without the Niggas Just Lie For No Reason catchphrase, creating an inside joke among netizens who were familiar with the original meme.
