Goose Wayne Batman is the pseudonym of a man named Giovanni who gained much online notoriety after appearing with his fiancé an episode of the Dr. Phil show, where he expressed that he believes he is a "real-life superhero."

History

On July 21st, 2018, the first post was uploaded to the @goosewaynebatman^[2] Instagram feed, featuring a video in which a man wearing a Batman mask yells at the camera while posing with a dancing woman. In November, the @BatmanGoose^[1] Twitter feed was created. On November 5th, the first video was uploaded to the Goose Wayne Batman YouTube channel, in which Goose Wayne Batman lights himself on fire before being punched in the face (shown below).

Dr. Phil Appearance

On February 7th, 2019, the Dr. Phil YouTube channel uploaded footage of Goose Wayne Batman's appearance on the show, during which his fiancé and father lament his choice to be a "real-life superhero" (shown below). During the episode, the fiancé reveals she has known Giovanni since they were 14-years-old, but that embraced the superhero persona two weeks after they were engaged.

PewDiePie Episode

On February 11th, PewDiePie uploaded a video titled "This guy thinks he is BATMAN," in which host Felix Kjellberg reacts to the Dr. Phil episode (shown below, left). That day, Goose Wayne Batman uploaded footage of himself reacting to the video titled PewDiePie (shown below, right). In the video, Goose Wayne Batman reveals he found the PewDiePie video "funny." In the comments section, he commented that he would "fight this entity 'T-series' to the death."

The following day, PewDiePie posted several tweets^[3] reacting to the video, speculating that a browser tab in Goose Wayne Batman's background appears to be searching for Belle Delphine (shown below).
