About

Infochammel is a Youtube channel that acts as a satire of the meaningless content that pervades television. The channel revolves around a fake service which uses unknown means to provide mental stimulation to customers of the fictional Infochammel service. The channel has been noted for its high production values and bizarre videos.

Origin

Infochammel was created by and is run by DavyForce, a Digital FX artist known for having previously worked with Tim and Eric on the intro to Tim and Eric Awesome Show (shown below, left) and on a viral parody of The Shining named "The Chickening" (shown below, right).

Infochammel was created on May 10, 2012. The first video uploaded on the channel, "INFOCHAMMEL Satellite Text Test Signal", was uploaded 2 days later. The video followed Infochammel's format of odd "television" broadcasts interspersed with the channel's distinctive sense of humor. To date this video has over 3,000 views.

The channel has made prominent name for itself on YouTube as Infochammel caught the interest of much bigger YouTube personalities including Night Mind(below, left) and Cr1tikal(below, right).
