Nova Online, also known as NovaOnline or Nova, refers to a bigender TikTok user considered to be a lolcow by many internet users. Nova Online notably wears glasses and has shoulder-length brown hair. He first went viral for a series of fast-food reviews in 2022, which earned him a cult following on his TikTok account @nova_online1 and later on the account @heyah_novak3. Nova Online's earliest posts are from YouTube in 2016. Heading into the 2020s, Nova Online sparked a feud with fellow TikTok lolcow Tophiachu and also faced many controversies, rumors and allegations, including his alleged age regression fetish, claims that he wears diapers and an alleged inappropriate role-play call with a minor on Discord. Nova Online has drawn comparisons to other internet users considered to be lolcows, such as Chris Chan, Daniel Larson and Joshua Block, among others, in viral memes, posts and fan edits. As of June 2025, Nova Online posts on the TikTok account @the_novine_universe.

Online History

The earliest known record of Nova Online's online presence is a YouTube^[1] channel called MagicWizurd 2, which shared its first YouTube^[2] video called "5 landscapes that you will LOVE," on June 25th, 2016.

Nova Online later posted his face on the channel, starting with a YouTube^[3] video on December 25th, 2016, called "Pokemon figures Part 1," which received over 680 views in nine years (shown below).

Nova Online continued to post on the channel in the following years, like a YouTube^[4] video posted on November 17th, 2017, called "How to do 8 trigrams palm rotation in Naruto Clash of Ninja Revolution," which gained over 3,100 views in eight years (shown below).

Nova Online's first TikTok account was called @realmagicwizurd, according to YouTuber^[5] Lolcow Academy, who shared a video called "Nova Online Exposed: The Origin Story of TikTok Lolcow Heyah_Novak3," in September 2023, and included many reposted TikTok videos from @realmagicwizurd. As of writing, the account is no longer accessible.

Nova Online's first viral TikTok video was shared on June 24th, 2022, according to YouTuber^[5] Lolcow Academy and YouTuber^[6] Jett, which showed Nova Online reviewing food from the fast-food chain Wingstop. The video was uploaded on the account @nova_online1, and it received over 640,300 likes in a year, per YouTuber^[5] Lolcow Academy's recording.

The Wingstop video is included in a compilation of early Nova Online TikToks shared by YouTuber^[7] unofficial cringetok on September 7th, 2022 (shown below). In the video, Nova Online says, "Trying Wingstop for the first time."

NovaOnine began posting to a secondary TikTok^[8] account, @the_novine_universe, on March 20th, 2023.

On April 17th, 2024, Nova Online posted a TikTok^[9] video to @the_novine_universe, claiming that his main account had been hacked. The video gained over 605,100 likes in a year (shown below).

Nova Online continued to post to the TikTok account @the_novine_universe heading into 2025.

For instance, on May 27th, 2025, Nova Online posted a TikTok^[10] in which he said, "I'm never making a fucking Discord server ever again." He then exclaims, "This is the motherfucking fourth-" and then drops his phone. Over one month, the video received over 1.7 million likes (shown below).

Tophia Feud

According to YouTuber^[6] Jett, Nova Online began posting about fellow TikToker Tophia, also known as Tophiachu, in October 2022, although an official first record is unconfirmed.

Nova Online accused Tophia of racism in an early 2023 TikTok, according to YouTuber^[6] Jett, who included the clip in their video on Nova Online (shown below). YouTuber Jett also included Tophia's responses to Nova Online's accusations.

Nova Online continued to post about Tophia in the following years, like in TikTok^[11] shared to @the_novine_universe on September 10th, 2024, using the I Hate the Way That You Walk sound and showing Nova Online reciting Kendrick Lamar's lyrics to an image of Tophia. Over nine months, the video received over 241,000 likes (shown below).

Allegations

In September 2022, posts were shared by Redditors in the /r/novaonline1snark^[12][13] snark subreddit that spread accusations levied at Nova Online for allegedly asking a minor inappropriate questions in a voice call. In an alleged Discord message screenshot (shown below), Nova Online writes in all caps, "THEY WERE BEING SEXUAL TOWARDS ME!" and "THEY DID IT MORE!"

On February 16th, 2025, YouTuber^[14] Turkey Tom posted a video about Nova Online called "The TikTok Discord Mod Caught Flirting With Minors," in which he discussed the allegations at length. The video received over 2.7 million views in four months (shown below).

Can I Get A French Onion Soup, Please?

On February 13th, 2023, the YouTube^[22] channel of KREM 2 News uploaded a segment called "Boomtown: Idaho Minimum Wage," receiving over 8,300 views in two years. At the video's 1:06-minute mark (shown below), Nova Online is shown working at The White House Grill in Post Falls, Idaho. He's shown with a ladle and shouting to someone off camera, "Can I get another French onion soup, please?"

On May 24th, 2023, YouTuber^[19] @Spider270_0 reposted a video, originally shared by a TikToker named @burgerkingbossbaby (since deleted), who clipped the news segment and wrote, "NOVA AT HIS JOB," in text overlay.

The video was reposted by various Redditors^[20] and TikTokers^[21] in the following months and also inspired memes.

For instance, on May 23rd, 2023, TikToker^[23] @nophiastan posted an edit of the video, gaining over 270,500 likes in two years (shown below).

Fandom

Nova Online has inspired numerous memes, fan edits and internet discourse since 2022.

For instance, on August 12th, 2022, TikToker^[15] @novasbiggest_fan posted an edit of Nova Online dancing, gaining over 1,800 likes in three years (shown below).

Viral Nova Online posts spread en masse in 2025, evident in a video posted by TikToker^[16] @backshotsgoblin on May 22nd, 2025, gaining over 169,700 likes in a month (shown below).

On June 4th, TikToker^[17] @steverocky2 posted a video in which he discussed Nova Online and called him the "Final boss" of Lolcows. Over three weeks, the video received over 74,800 likes (shown below).
