@prettyndollike, also known as ray, @beingbetrayed or @beingbetrayd, is an infamous E-girl on Twitter / X, Instagram, TikTok, Discord and Roblox who amassed viral backlash in late 2024, following accusations of racism, anti-Semitism and Asian-fishing. @prettyndollike was accused of catering to 4chan Groypers by being edgy and editing her selfies to appear Asian or Aryan. In late September 2024, discourse surfaced en masse following @prettyndollike's meltdown on Twitter, resulting in memes that used a selfie of her said to be her un-edited face. In the photo, she's seen with lip piercings, bangs and makeup, wearing a black top. X users used the selfie like an exploitable, inserting it into different meme templates to call her unattractive back after she called other women on the app ugly and pressured them to face reveal.

Online History

@prettyndollike created her Twitter / X^[1] account in June 2024. Previously, her username was @beingbetrayd which she continued to use on Instagram^[2] (where she was able to include an "e," like @beingbetrayed) in late 2024. Her first still-accessible post on Instagram^[3] dates back to November 23rd, 2023 (shown below).

@prettyndollike was also present on TikTok^[4] under her main handle @prettyndollike. Her first still-accessible TikTok^[5] post was shared on August 29th, 2024. In the video's description, she said that her previous account had been mass-reported and banned. X^[6] users echoed this claim in September 2024, saying that her previous account was called @beingbetrayed.

As stated, her previous X account was called @beingbetrayd and she posted there as early as October 2023. In September 2024, when the viral backlash against her ensued en masse, X^[7] user @RabidVegas shared alleged screenshots of her tweets on the account in which she fantasized about being groomed and sexually assaulted (shown below).

Controversy

In early August 2024, @prettyndollike amassed viral backlash on X, evident in replies^[8][9] shared as early as August 12th, 2024. The replies were levied to her suspended account @beingbetrayd, which was added to the Internet Archive^[10] on August 22nd. However, due to X's restrictions on API, the archived site is unviewable.

On August 31st, 2024, YouTuber^[11] ETK Creates posted a video called, "Beingbetrayd : Roblox & Tiktok's Worst E-girl," in which he documented the discourse and allegations surrounding @prettyndollike. In a month, the video received roughly 135,000 views (shown below).

Another archive of @prettyndollike's controversies was shared in a thread by X^[12] user @RabidVegas on September 25th, 2024. The thread's initial tweet received over 1.7 million views and 44,000 likes in a day (shown below).

@RabidVegas' thread documented ray's racism, Asian-fishing and anti-Semitism, among other transgressions. For instance, one screenshot shared in the thread^[13] was from an Instagram story that aimed to expose ray (shown below), allegedly showing evidence of ray doing a Nazi salute, welcoming rape threats and an un-edited photo of Ray, showing her real face. In the photo, ray is white with freckles and light brown hair.

Other posts in the thread allegedly documented ray saying the n-word. For instance, on September 23rd, X^[14] user @imsmiledog posted a screenshot of a @prettyndollike tweet^[15] that said the n-word, captioning the screenshot, "'ive changed,'" gaining over 12,000 likes in three days (shown below).

@prettyndollike Selfie

On September 24th, 2024, X^[15] user @chiefkeeffan163 got into an argument with @prettyndollike who called her ugly and pressured her to reveal face. In a viral quote tweet, @chiefkeeffan163 compared herself to an alleged un-edited photo of @prettyndollike, writing, "okay ur ugly now what. u look like those blue whale pfps," receiving over 2 million views and 25,000 likes in two days (shown below).

The photo was allegedly sourced from Discord, seen in a screenshot posted by X^[19] user @RabidVegas (shown below).

Others began using the photo of @prettyndollike in similar posts, starting a trend of Mogging her in quote tweets.^[16]

In turn, memes using the image spread en masse. For instance, on September 25th, X^[17] user @lifeimitatesyou tweeted the selfie, writing, "this Picture is Sending me bro i Cant stop laughing 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭," gaining over 101,000 likes in a day (shown below).

Later on September 25th, X^[18] user @papufilico tweeted a Wojak of @prettyndollke, gaining over 44,000 likes in a day (shown below).
