About
Runuppercy, also known by his username @runuppercy, is a TikTok creator most-known for his noticeably terrible rap music covers of songs from artists like Yeat, NBA Youngboy, Bladee, Yung Lean, Sematary and Playboi Carti, among others. He films all his videos in his car with the front-facing camera, wearing the same outfit of a red, Supreme headband, a reflective, silver jacket and an Off-White chain. Reactions to his content center on cringe, him being a "white boy" and speculation that he's just a troll. He started posting to TikTok in early 2021 and has since grown a cult following, spreading to Instagram as well.
Online History
Although runuppercy's first accessible TikTok[1] was posted on March 5th, 2021, it's known that he was posting content earlier. However, the aforementioned, first-known TikTok (shown below) amassed roughly 639,700 plays and 42,900 likes over the course of one year. It featured him covering the song "Yale" by Ken Car$on.

However, it's also known that runuppercy was posting TikToks earlier than March 2021 because of an interview he did with YouTuber[2] greenisnotnick on January 27th, 2022, wherein, he reveals that his first recorded TikTok featured a Young Thug song. He also revealed in the interview that he used to wear a green Supreme headband, something that cannot be seen in any of his currently accessible videos. The interview (shown below) received roughly 58,400 views over the course of one month.
Runuppercy received increased engagement on TikTok starting on April 5th, 2021, when he posted a video[3] that featured him singing the song "Lust" by Lil Skies, earning roughly 606,500 plays and 46,100 likes over the course of 11 months (shown below, left). It can be seen in the comment section of his March 5th TikTok[1] that most users who posted comments did so on April 5th, most likely circling back to the video.
On June 17th, 2021, runuppercy posted a TikTok[4] that received roughly 6.6 million plays and 858,700 likes over the course of eight months, being one his most played ever, as well as being his first video to reach over 1.5 million plays. It featured him covering the NBA Youngboy song "Nevada" (shown below, right).
