Peter Griffin's "Woah Woah Woah," which also includes the phrase "Lois This Is Not My Batman Glass" is a meme catchphrase spoken by Peter Griffin from the animated sitcom show Family Guy. An audio snippet of the sound garnered significant attention on TikTok in late 2022 and is often said as part of a referential joke in which someone will be trying to stop another person from doing an action, with the 12 repeated "woahs" being used to say "stop" or "hold on a minute."

Origin

The original phrase from the show is spoken as part of a scene in season four, episode two of Family Guy, in which Chris Griffin tells Lois that his girlfriend is the teacher Mrs. Lockhart. This prompts Lois to get Peter's attention, but he's more concerned with the fact that he was not given his Batman cup to drink out of, prompting the overly exaggerated "woah" responses. This scene was uploaded to YouTube on May 21st, 2017, by a Family Guy^[1] fan channel, where it was viewed over 161,000 times in five years (shown below).

After being uploaded on TikTok on February 15th, 2020,^[4] the audio file of Peter saying "Woah Woah Woah Woah" was used in an early example by TikToker Safiya^[2] on November 30th, 2020, getting over 1.9 million likes in two years by using the audio to simulate her stopping her boyfriend from making a move on her during her period (shown below).

Two years later, on November 5th, 2022, the TikToker KylaCT^[3] uploaded an example using the audio, receiving over 2.1 million likes in one month for her TikTok of her daughter getting back in bed instead of getting ready for school (shown below).
